Went here as a child, has always been a homely place and visiting today took me right back. Food was delicious, proper pub food and great prices. Staff were warm and welcoming and very kind too. Definitely going to become a regular place we visit!
First time visit after a wet walk round the nature reserve. Dean and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. 2 meals for £15, great value. We had steak and ale pie, chip, peas and gravey, proper hearty food.

A friend took me to lift my spirits (health getting me down). The prices are down right cheap compared to the venue and what you get. It was lovely place, disabled access was easy (wheelchair might struggle). Definitely a place to go back to
Warmly welcomed, good choice of menu, well cooked baked potatoes, tuna and salad with good cappuccino to follow, and a delicious waffle, ice cream and chocolate sauce. Outside tables available at front and back, and we were fortunate to have sunshine. A lovely place to visit before or after walking

Visited for the first time on Sunday after travelling to walk round the nature reserve and it was such a lovely, welcoming pub. Staff were very friendly (especially the older gentleman with the fancy moustache- didn't catch his name sorry)

Been a couple of times recently for lunch. Food is great. Had the chilli, steak and ale pie and the breakfast brunch so far. All big portions and very tasty.
I used to live in the area and stayed at the Saltwells Inn while visiting family. The food was as good as I remembered, with generous portions. The accomodation was nice and basic, clean towels were always available. Also with the nature reserve nearby, it's an absolutely lovely area to stay and

Spent two weeks staying here with my wife while visiting her mother. Room was large and very comfortable (if slightly chill in the evenings), food was excellent, and staff were friendly and accomodating. Lovely place, and would like to stay there again.

Great beer selection with freindly service. Pub is very smart and has indoor and outdoor seating. Nicely situated in the Nature Reserve.
Really nice little place. The staff were friendly and pleasant, food was well cook and the areas were clean and kept tidy. I will definitely be returning again.
It's been about 35 years since we last visited the saltwells was pleasantly surprised, very friendly staff, food was very good, will definitely be visiting again.
