This place was absolutely unbelievable. We were stuck for somewhere to eat when visiting Bridport whilst on holiday over the Bank Holiday. We looked on Google maps and found this place. It’s a very short drive from the town centre and it’s located on an industrial estate, and I’m so glad we found this hidden gem. We ordered 3 Bay-Mac burgers and fries and they were hands down the best burgers we’ve ever eaten. They were absolutely huge, incredibly good value for money, and tasted amazing. To top it all off, the guy running the place was so helpful and friendly and made sure everything was spot on, made sure we had everything and went above and beyond for everything. This place deserves all the success it can.
Burgers at the bay has spoilt barbecues forever. I once loved a burger off of the bbq, but now they just look sad and pathetic and my mind drifts to Burgers At the Bay- the gods of Burgers... and dirty fries... and normal fries... and lunches and breakfasts and everything really.
Super food once again. If all the other local takeaways shut due to lack of custom we know who to blame. Love ya!
Surprise f8nd this one, but has become a regular spot. Whether a bacon bap in the am or a fully loaded burger n fries, always good quality , good portions, served up with a smile. Well done guys, thank you!
Kept walking by here as thought it was all part of the holiday caravan site. Saw on here a few good reviews so tried it out tonight. Food was delicious, hot and fresh. Price was very good for what you got as portions are VERY big! Even better at the minute as using the Govt eat out scheme. Even though it says everywhere, they are dog friendly too, which is brilliant as we left our dog at the cottage and could have brought him along!
Give it a try as listed at the bottom of all the google reviews and deserves a go! We almost ended up at Wetherspoons, so glad we didn’t!
absolutely amazing burgers, the chips were incredible also and the thick shakes are fabulous... Good job guys...we will be back for sure
First time user 9th june 23, as a treat for me the wife and furry friend, absolutely superb burger and chips, oh and lemon fanta, drool slurp will be coming again.
Me and my partner treated ourselves and it was lovely. They even did me a milkshake I used to get when they were at west bay! (baynana) that milkshake is heaven! my partner loved the free Easter cake, was a nice touch!
One of the best burgers I have had blue cheese was amazing off the wheel and home made coleslaw lots of homemade food lots to choose from this is how a burger van should be good price if you want the best this is the place too go I will be back
Highly recommended!!! The best burgers we've had potentially ever!! All our burgers had generous proportions of ingredients and the loaded fries - especially the pulled pork with cheese - were sensational. We visited Bridport for these burgers and will definitely do it again.

Dog friendly indoors & very accommodating staff. Had loverly burgers & onion rings which was really good quality & cooked perfectly, & not fatty or oily in any way & salad perfectly fresh. But very filling. Beautiful view from there day or night and very reasonably priced. Our dogs even got a biscuit, which they were very happy about. And fully sticking to the Covid-19 & Track & Trace rules.

Went here on our last night in West Bay 14th August. If you have not tried their burgers its a must do while in West Bay!! Excellent service and food while watching everyone busy on West Bay pier. We will be back next time we are down in West Bay. #bestburgersinwestbay
Wow, dropped in this evening for a cheeky take-out, and was impressed!
I was only expecting the normal seaside fair, but got a chilli dog that was actually really tasty and spicey, and the chilli fries were awesome.
Prices pretty reasonable for the quality too!
Will be back when down in West bay next :-)
This place is so bad for your figure!! I never normally eat cheese.... Well now im addicted to blue cheese!!! Beautiful loaded fries, wee bit small but amazing! Burgers are definitely worth a try!
Literally the best food around especially the hotdog getting my mouth around that was so mouth watering!! The skittle mountain thickshake was delicious! Staff are very friendly when I picked my food up I was greeted by a lovely chap he said his name was Jason he had a lovely smile and very very friendly, I will definitely be eating his hotdogs again!
Thankyou to all the staff for making my evening with lovely food whilst I watched bay watch on the telly I had a lovely time. I wish I could eat here 9 times a night ! Roger out.
Ordered this evening for 17:40 and it turned up 10 minutes early! The sheer cheek of it!
I ordered the chicken bacon cheese burger with spicy mayo and it was absolutely divine, southern fried chicken strips as a side and a Santa themed milkshake white chocolate and something, I am here 15 minutes after it arrived feeling sick and bloated after devouring it all far too quickly and it was worth it 100%

10/10 We have had two lots of burgers and sides from here, both of which were excellent, very tasty, freshly prepared and delivered hot. Last night I tried the pulled pork loaded fries, absolutely to die for.
