My wife and I decided on a last minute staycation in Bridport and decided to stay at The Lord Nelson and we were jolly glad we did. The owner Nicole and her staff were not only brilliant but an absolute hoot! We will be back next summer.

Fantastic find. We paid a budget price and received a 5 star 🌟 service! Room - very clean, spacious, light and bright. A good quality breakfast. The hosts - Kenny and Christine went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed - nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you 😊. Sarah

Sue was a lovely host and the bar staff were great. They all made you feel very welcome.
The hotel has a carpark which is so cheap.
Breakfast was perfect couldn't fault it.

A warm welcome, clean room with ensuite. Great real ales, a Palmers pub, the local brewery. Excellent breakfast in the sunny garden courtyard at the rear. Inexpensive council car park next door. Great location for the high street and short, easy drive to the coast. Highly recommended.
Stayed in one of the lovely rooms - bed so comfy and bathroom is spotless. Traditional English breakfast was satisfying. Owner was very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended!
This is just a nice and easy going local pub with nothing more than needed, or nothing less than expected. The room was basic but clean and the breakfast was thrown in for free. Due to covid there was was no evening menu, but Bridport has plenty. Good value
