The place looks nice and the food is very tasty. Fair prices for a quality service. I will come here again. Friendly staff and cold beer, what more would you like?

Visited twice during our weeks stay. Great food, chicken & pasta & smoked salmon prawn & courgette pasta were yummy. Hubby totally wolfed down his steak & hake fishes too. Little bit of a wait for food but the food is SO worth it! Best panini I’ve ever eaten! The staff are so lovely and chatty - it was a very welcoming and cozy environment. We went back multiple times and will continue to do so!
A very tasty mushroom and spinach stroganoff, their chips are very good too.
A real gem, had some great food and some local musicians played a drum and bass and reggae set. I think the landlord was a bit nervous and out of his comfort zone but need not have worried. Best band I've seen in ages but could have been louder.

Nice rustic feel to the place, simple food well made. I had the sea bass, chips and mushy peas. Lemon served with the sea bass could have been a little larger slice to make squeezing a little easier, hardly a big issue, but the chips were a nice twist on a common theme. Will come back.
Wonderful rooms of an old apothecary have become a characterful cafe/restaurant .
Some evenings it will have live music and the place has a wonderful atmosphere .
Wonderful friendly and helpful staff make it really child friendly and a .e.orable place to spend time
Me and my mum popped in and had breakfast eggs Benedict. OMG was amazing ,the bacon was so tasty and the eggs where poached lovely with some of the nicest hollandaise sauce 100% recommended ❤
Lovely restaurant- staff were very friendly and Teddy our dog was made very welcome. Food was great as well.
