I love this place. Discovered it last year on holiday. Gorgeous cream tea on 1st visit. Really tasty cheesy bake on 2nd visit. and yummy victoria sandwich. Plenty of tea, peace and quiet. Lovely little gift shop and craft shop. And a walk around the lake. Coming back for more this weekend....YAY!

Great little hidden gem! We started our visit in the cosy little cafe, lots of choice and very nice food. A light rain shower then directed us into the very interesting museum, lots to see! including the wheel from the inside (apart from seeing the wheel, awkward steps are involved) then we emerged to the sun making an appearance onto the lovely lake, lots of benches, ducks and a little walk down to the sluice gates which is a very pretty little spot. Before we left we visited the gift/craft shop which was full of very reasonably priced items and plants for sale too. A very enjoyable morning of exploring and will definately be returning 😊 There was also an Art gallery but not sure on the opening days as closed on the Saturday we visited.

Lovely place to visit. The mill is interesting to look around and a walk round the lake is a must. We enjoyed a scone and coffe at the tea rooms sat outside on a lovely sunny day. The menu was large and varied with lots of lovely home cooked food to choose from. The craft shop is also well worth a visit with lots of lovely gifts to look at.

Very quirky location with a lovely mill which can be visited. It's full of a haphazard collection of machines and equipment, which just adds to its charm. There is also an excellent cafe, unusual free range hens, a river walk, a beautiful lake which can be walked around and a gift shop.

Mangerton Mill Museum is a quirky eclectic mix of vintage emphemera, tools and household items displayed on all three floors of the old mill. If you are a photographer it is a great opportunity to snap some interesting photos. The floors are accessed by steep mill ladder/staircase so not available to those with mobility issues. Entrance fee is a donation on trust. I love this place. Lots of craft shops, a tea room and a nice pond with benches around it. A fantastic location and a nice afternoon out.

An unassuming site of rural country lanes, with more available to do than could be expected. Marvelous working watermill with a museum, containing many of the historical works as well as other period pieces. Then there is the cafe (glorious cakes and latte), art galleries, craft shop and large pond to walk around. We had to visit twice to take it all in. Almost worth buying a caravan in order to stay on site.

Lovely morning spent here. Very quiet peaceful place. Restaurant staff were warm and welcoming and we had a good look through the mill's museums history as well as the crafts.
