Lovely cafe with fast and friendly service. Sit in or out or takeaway. Lovely breakfast baps and plenty more available on the menu. No WiFi but a good phone signal (at least at the window seat). At £2.25 for a tea and £3ish for a wide selection of coffees very well priced.
Returned recently to this warm cosy café on South Street for first post-pandemic visit. I really enjoyed my full English breakfast. Good ingredients, well-cooked, friendly staff, reasonably-priced. Pot of strong tea with it was certainly very welcome. Recommended.

The owner has always made us feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble and the cream tea is well worth the money, very good value.

Lovely cuppa and beautifully baked cakes. Bacon sandwich is a proper doorstopper too. Friendly and fun owner has some good chat to complete the experience!

A good place for breakfast on market days. Full English with good quality ingredients and not swimming in oil, excellent. Staff also very good. Seating can be a bit cramped and no customer toilet.
10/10 service. Warm welcome, quick service, and owner happily accommodated the menu to my needs. Solid breakfast bap - what more do you need!
