We went here for my birthday. Very friendly and dog friendly too. The food was delicious. Parking is difficult, very small parking. We had to drive back to our lodge and walk back to the pub. Them country lanes are dark and recommend carrying a torch with you to see. I would recommend booking in advance, as they do get busy.

Absolutely fantastic fresh food at reasonable prices, although you need to update your website as the prices are out of date. Lovely views from outside sadly spoiled by smokers using that area and dogs, even dog poo on the decking. Some of the interior needs some attention with cleaning too, cobwebs full of spiders and dead flies above the table in one corner. But we went back twice because the food was so good and staff friendly too.

Four of us went there for a meal last week and after a drink on the decking we all had an excellent meal. Plenty of fresh seafood on the specials board, I had the Brill which was delicous. Lots of dog owners in the bar when we were there so if you are not a dog lover it may not be for you

Absolutely love the food here. It was so good we had to book for the next day also!. Staff were very welcoming, dog friendly which is great too, great music selection, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Had the fumble crumble for pudding which was lovely, had to have it the next day also!. Will be coming back :)

A pleasant village pub, not free house. Food looked lovely, e.g. a large fish and chips. Only downsides are a small car park and a single track road leading down to Eype beach (pebbles).

Had a really lovely meal (Omelette with chips, salad and coleslaw) Lemon meringue with cream for dessert. Very friendly staff and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back very soon. Thankyou.

This is the second time we've been to the New Inn, a year apart, both times have been excellent. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. This pub is a hidden little gem and we'll definitely be back again when we're in the area. Very dog friendly too.

This place is so lovely. A group of 12 of us turned up, unannounced and unbooked, hoping to be fed but expecting to be disappointed because when we arrived the pub was very busy. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us, warned us that it might be a bit of a wait, but actually got our food out really quickly. In our party we had someone with a severe allergy to gluten, and a vegetarian, as well as a few fussy people, so a lot of our orders had changes to the menu, but the staff didn't make a single mistake with any order. We ended up going back a couple of days later (booked this time) for a birthday, and again had a wonderful experience there, with staff more than happy to bring out the cake we had bought from outside so we could sing happy birthday. We had two dogs with us both times and they were very welcome too. The garden was beautiful, a perfect place to eat and enjoy the late evening sun. Everyone loved the food, both times, and the plant burger I had the second time was easily the nicest meal I've had in my 4 years as a vegetarian. Generous portions, really friendly and welcoming staff, would heartily recommend to anyone. Edited to add: I forgot to say that one of our party lost a really sentimental necklace here, and called up hoping it had been handed in. It hadn't been and the staff searched for it. When they couldn't find it they took his contact details, carried on looking in their garden over several days and then found it, called him up to let him know, returned it safely. Little things like that make such a huge difference to the feel of a place.

Nice. Very local energy but friendly still. Food is decent - microwaved to order but home cooked originally. Cute garden. Good view. Good tunes. Decent vibe. 7/10

Disappointing no roast dinners today but I'm sure they will have a good reason. Ordered ham egg and chips and it was delicious. The young lad serving was polite and the service was extremely quick. Only gave a 4 star as no roast dinners and that is probably harsh so upgrade to 4.5 stars. Well done and thank you.
