Lovely place to eat, great food good prices. The staff were lovely. We had scampi and chips, chicken with season vegetables would definitely recommend. Cheese board bigger than expected with a good selection 👌 Was great to see gluten free options on the menu too.
We had fabulous four dishes that were well appointed and delicious. The salad came straight from the on-premise garden and it was fantastic. Service was professional and friendly. The atmosphere was welcoming and upbeat. I highly recommend and am looking forward to returning for more wonderful food
The typical pub restaurant. Very nice interior, the usual light shabbyness which adds a level of cozyness. Nice people around, good beer and cider. The food was great. Especially the starter with grilled mushrooms and cheese was excellent. And don't forget to look at the picture which shows all pupi

First time visiting this lovely little pub. A nice quaint place, sitting outside, next to the road. Very dog friendly too, inside and out. Nice variety of Ales and lagers, served kindly by the staff. Managed to sample the food too, Scampi and chips served with salad and homemade tartar sauce. Small
Lovely pretty pub with delicious food. Choice of portion size. Locally sourced ingredients. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend. Reasonable prices too.
A very exquisite thatched roof public house. Menu small but reasonable dishes to suit all. Enjoy the wonderful beer garden with a tipple of your fancy. Go on.....give it a go.
The food looked excellent on its way out to the tables. Unfortunately, we have not tried it yet. Beer and the wine hit the spot.
We've visited this pub when in the area, on and off for over 30 years. Good atmosphere, good food and service. A minute's drive off the A35, and yet calm and relaxing.
Had a lovely meal here. Read the reviews prior and didn't know what to expect. Warm and friendly welcome which was natural, no heirs and graces. We had two meals from the special menu.. best meal we've had in a while.. Very pleased and had a decent pint of bitter too. If we're in the area will vis
Brilliant Village Pub, didn't have any food but the Ales and the Atmosphere was excellent.
Best Sunday roasts in the area. Burgers are hefty too. All at very reasonable prices.
It's nice to visit and have a pint, even if they haven't got your favourite drink. But overall very good.
Was told table was booked for 3 o'clock for another party, while we were still eating pudding. Which we did not appreciate.
