Great food, great staff, simple surroundings, good music, we love it here. If you want glass & chrome, move on. However, If you want a memorable lunch or evening meal at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. Wonderful Lamb meal last night, but they cater very well for vegetarians too. BYO keeps the price down, no 'corkage' but £1 for the use of a glass. That'll do me.

This is a wonderfully eclectic little cafe from its furnishings to its music. My husband and I always pop in for a coffee and breakfast when we visit Bridport. The food is fresh and tasty and cooked to order , there is a friendly and endearing feel to the place. Well worth a visit

Such a quirky, quaint little cafe! I popped in for breakfast with my family and absolutely loved it. The cafe has a lovely, homely feel to it, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. I wish I lived in Bridport so I could visit more often.

No pretensions here. Sit on a bench or an aged chair and enjoy cheap home cooked tasty food. Dogs welcome. Hidden away at the back of the St Michaels estate.

Had a snack here. Amazing variety of extremely fresh vegetables, beautiful tasty salads, fabulous cakes. Super healthy food as well as naughty indulgence. Think they cater to both carnivores and veggies. We were too early for lunch, but will certainly return. Brilliant arty vibe without being pretentious. Normal prices. Indoor and outdoor seating. Toilet upstairs. Well worth a visit

Quirky little cafe. Lots of outdoor seating. Dog friendly. We went for brunch, and both the full English and the vegan breakfast were very good. I thought prices were fairly high for the portion sizes, but at least the quality was good. Be warned that this is a cash only establishment! Very unusual these days.

Bridport in Dotset...never fails to surprise this urbanite. First Malabar Trading with its exceptional stock...then Snook with the most beautiful high end hats for under £100...shop here fellow urbanites... and now the Red Brick Cafe...definitely a kick back to another era, refreshingly so... i.e. it is different but such w o n d e r f u l fresh and delicious food...food yoga I think... in the best possible way. The ladies at Malabar recommended it...so off I traipsed into a most unlikely looking area (ah...look again urbanite!...this is all vintage stuff/shops/warehouses) and there defying its surroundings or maybe made possible by them...is this delightful place.

Fantastic coffee and veggie breakfast! Possibly one of the best ever had out! Quality ingredients cooked perfectly. Kept us full for the rest of the day. Lovely cafe too, great outside seating and plenty of parking outside. Toilet was upstairs so not suitable for disabled access. Lots of additional food being prepped while we were there which all looked and smelled amazing - I wanted to try it all. Bought cakes to take away and weren't disappointed - very yum!

We wandered in and was plenty suprised with a quaint busy little cafe with a different feel to the ones we usually go in, a great value menu with all the food made onsite. We loved the feel of the place and the live music being played (which was great). The staff was all busy with all the orders coming in, but the food didn't take that long to come through.

Nice food. Chilled atmosphere. Salads aren’t quite as good as they used to be.

Like the kitchen is the heart of the home - so the Red Brick Cafe is the heart of Bridport. Nourishing freshly cooked food and friendly staff - warm and cozy in the winter and dining al fresco in the garden overlooking the river in the summer. Locally sourced food, fresh ingredients, eclectic menu - something for every tastes.

Lovely quirky haven hidden away, fantastic character. The food was absolutely delicious, possibly expensive but worth it. The staff seemed welcoming at first and asked us to take a seat, then nothing happened and we felt ignored. Eventually we worked out that we had to order at the kitchen counter. For this reason the environment felt a little cliquey to start with, but once we settled down to our food and drink we thoroughly enjoyed it. PS Google was useless at giving directions and suggested we need to swim across a stream to get there 😂. The entrance is a turning to the small industrial estate off St. Michael's Lane.

Lovely little cafe set on an industrial estate. Right now it's raining, I'm sat outside and to be fair, things couldn't be better with the excellent breakfast I'm eating alongside a lovely cup of hot choc! It's got a great atmosphere, the outside area is covered and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. People are chilled, it's peaceful and birds are chirping away in the surrounding bushes and trees The price is a tad higher than most but considering the country is coming out of a pandemic I found that perfectly acceptable. The menu is varied and interesting with everything from breakfasts to burritos. Well worth a visit.

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The café garden is beautiful, right by the river and they play amazing music and sometimes have live musicians. The staff are friendly and accommodating, all the food tastes amazing, the ingredients are created from small producers around the area this is defiantly reflected in the quality of the food and the price! Defiantly a must go place if your visiting or live in Bridport.

Cool and quirky place for a bite to eat. We were passing through and struggled to find the building following the google directions but once we got there we were delighted. Coffee and food was fresh and tasty. Would definitely visit again.

Friday night dinners are amazing, charming service fantastic local organic food, amazing puddings all under the stars so safe from covid and next to a river running by. We booked to make sure we got a table and love to take visitors there to give them a taste of Dorset farm produce. Last night lived up to all that.

2nd visit to the Red Brick Cafe when visiting Bridport. Went on Friday night for the set menu and again had interesting, home cooked, tasty food in a relaxed atmosphere sat outside undercover. One of our party was a vegan and again they thoroughly enjoyed their food. Would definitely go there again.
