The Half Moon - Bridport - Photo album

Really nice pub with log fires. Very welcoming and dog friendly as well. Food was very nice and reasonably priced. If being really critical to them, then they could do with being a little bit more flexible around the menu...ie.. can't have the lamb with chips, can't have a sweetcorn as a kids side m
Ordered a Sunday roast delivery. Delivery arrived on time and was hot. Food was amazing and very large portions. Highly recommend.
We visited the Half Moon whilst on our minimoon in Dorset. We wanted a lovely “home cooked” Sunday roast and boy did they deliver. The food was exceptional. They also had a band playing in the garden and a magician coming round to the tables (when you weren’t eating) and it was great! Highly recomme
Came for lunch on a Monday afternoon, service was lovely and the pub is very tastefully done up. Excellent food and the option for a smaller plate for those with a smaller appetite.
We visited here on our way home from a day trip. The lady who served us was very friendly. The service was fast and we sat outside in their lovely garden. The sausage and onion sandwich was delicious .
Had lunch here today for the first time. Great menu choices and freshly cooked to order. The dining area has a great atmosphere, service is very friendly and helpful. And we must not fail to give a mention to Elwood the resident labrador who is a very well trained "meeter & greeter". Highly recommend
Food was delicious but spoilt by slow start to meal. We booked for 6 pm (had a 12-year-old with us), and it was 7 pm when the first course got to us. Received a rather brusque response when we quiered timing at 6.30, saying "everyone would be served in turn" I'm not sure we shall be going back.
If there is one thing you should do before you keel over is go to The Half Moon and try their food. They have amazing customer service from the get go, great COVID regulations, ths canopee was such a lovely atmosphere with beautiful lights and fire heaters. Wildflowers and brilliant music. Such a lo
Just had the most wonderful lunch on Father's day with my family. Even though the place was packed the service was top notch as it always is. I had the roast beef which was cooked to perfection. Never had a bad meal here and will be returning again ASAP. Our go to place to eat now as its just brilli
Went there on the 20th August, last evening of our holiday and wish we found The Half Moon sooner. Great place, really friendly and welcoming. Staff were great and couldn’t of been more helpful and friendly. Food was fantastic even the kids loved it all.
Had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch. Nice menu and good portions. Would recommend. Good choice of beer and Cider as well.
Felt awful that I had wrong booking time and we were late....what a beautiful find, all meals were lovely. Beautiful Sunday lunch. Thank you chef and all staff
Beautiful set pub garden, friendly and welcoming staff, great selection of beers, tasty choice of freshly cooked classic pub grub plus a few surprises (popcorn cockles are delicious!)... The 12oz stakes came perfectly cooked and the kids demolished them!! (I'd have taken pics of my dirty pig burger,
Staff are welcoming and attentive. Food was okay, the star of the show was the chips, the burger as a whole I personally found to lack flavour.
Doggie friendly, cosy pub . Good food portions. Such cute, diddy garlic bread. Yummy!
Really lovely, friendly staff, made to feel very welcome, particularly our dog! Relaxed atmosphere. Food is excellent; popcorn cockles were very moreish! Large garden, with a choice of covered or uncovered tables.
Excellent and tasty Sunday lunch. Wide range on the menu.
