Just had the most delicious meal at The Olive Tree; the Moroccan Prawn starter was a generous portion of king prawns in a wonderful, spicy butter. The antipasti platter was really generous. The hake and sea bass main courses were fantastic, served with interesting veggies. We shared a lemon posset with chunks of honeycomb �. Thank you for great service, too.
Quite possibly the best restaurant in Bridport where the food is superb and presented beautifully. The wine is exceptional and the staff always make you feel welcome and appreciated. The open kitchen is a delight and there are even function rooms which we have successfully used on many an occasions.
The Olive Tree is a real asset to Bridport.

Really enjoyable meal, the staff are friendly. The food was exceptional, the plaice was lovely and fresh and the calzone was great.Not only that but I got an extra scoop of excellent ice cream!
All food was cooked to perfection and the Hake was a great choice for lunchtime. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definately recommend :)

Friendly unobtrusive service. Excellent food. Sea bass risotto or with veg. Christmas tart and winter crumble excellent choices. With starter and coffee to follow an enjoyable evening experienced for two. Highly recommended

Popped in to try this restaurant as we were passing and it was raining. So glad we did! Staff were friendly. We sat upstairs. Husband, adult son and myself. My son and husband ordered pizzas. I had the tagliatelle with ham and cheese. All meals were delicious. Reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. Son opted for a dessert too, he loved it. Highly recommend. Would return, if we visit Bridport again!

Came here for dinner with my parents who live in the area. We sat upstairs so missed out a little bit on the buzzy atmosphere but we were really well looked after by the staff. Food was great, especially the Spectacular, 3 types of fish plus mussels and prawns in a delicious broth. Pastas were also lovely. Food short wine list too .

Fantastic restaurant in the centre of Bridport. Reservation essential as it is a popular choice. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely menu, varied Mediterranean food, lots of seafood. We went for ‘The spectacular’ which was a seafood experience to remember! Super crème brûlée for dessert and great wine. Very reasonable and great location.

We booked for a group of 18 back in July. The staff were very kind to accommodate for such a big group as most restaurants in the area would not take us on.
A private room was set up for us upstairs. It was a great space and the table service was great.
The food was fantastic, with delicious vegan and gluten free options. The staff were also incredibly receptive and helpful to a member of the group with celiac disease.
Every member of the group loved their meal. The bar staff also made amazing cocktails too.
Cannot recommend the Olive Tree enough. For the quality of the food and drinks, the price was really good.

This restaurant went above and beyond for my fussy vegan daughter and gave her a meal she really enjoyed. The specials were delicious and the fish perfectly cooked. Really couldn't fault the place. Friendly efficient and delicious. Highly recommended. Thanks guys.
