Came across this pub by accident and so glad we did. Greeted with a big smile by the landlord who fitted us in for an excellent lunch. Huge portions great value in a real village pub with friendly locals and staff. Marvellous!

Homemade delicious food. Great vegetarian options. Great local pale ale. Definitely book a table in advance! They're very popular. Wonderful community spirit too.
Thoroughly enjoyed our meals at The Crown Inn last night. Well cooked, good-sized portions were served by a great waitress who made us feel welcome rather than those that just go through the motions elsewhere.

Lovely little pub with a nice garden - welcomed the family and dog. Only had some chips but they were delicious washed down with a pint of cold beer.
