Came across this pub by accident and so glad we did. Greeted with a big smile by the landlord who fitted us in for an excellent lunch. Huge portions great value in a real village pub with friendly locals and staff. Marvellous!

Lovely attentive team 💛 We would highly recommend. Homemade delicious food. Great vegetarian options. Great local pale ale. Definitely book a table in advance! They're very popular. Wonderful community spirit too.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals at The Crown Inn last night. Well cooked, good-sized portions were served by a great waitress who made us feel welcome rather than those that just go through the motions elsewhere. Varied menu with just the right amount of tasty options still makes choosing a favourite main pretty tricky, so I went for a main to relive childhood memories, kidneys but done with a modern twist. So glad I did and the wife's homemade pie was really good too. Three great courses enjoyed in a traditional old country pub with nice furniture. Book a table when in the area. You will not be disappointed. The Taylors
