Found by chance when perusing the menu of a more expensive establishment. Inside was too busy for nine of us but in the small yet quaint courtyard we managed to shuffle a few tables together to accommodate our needs. The food was delicious and reasonably priced... the pot of tea was enormous and required a strong arm to lift and pour! The staff were very friendly especially one gentleman in particular who instigated much banter. Would definitely visit again... highly recommended.

Busy, buzzy, always friendly. Sit inside or in the courtyard and enjoy their generous pots of tea, lovely cakes, or tasty lunches.

A small unassuming cafe up a side street. Very ordinary inside - until you place your order. In our experience no cafe will qualify as more friendly. The guy (owner) serving us was the best we've come across. He even thanked us for being nice people! The food and tea were also more than we expected.

Popped in today for a cappuccino and a piece of carrot cake. One of my pet hates with cappuccinos is that they are often not warm enough. However the Green Yard certainly have this area covered, I could not fault it. Same with the carrot cake, delicious. I will certainly revisit when back in Bridport. I won’t mention the elephant in the room though… Oh no, I just did!

Excellent cafe, wish we'd found it sooner. Just off the main road in Bridport, we visited a few times this week. A friendly welcome with a personable team. Typical selections of teas, coffees, cakes, etc. Plus cooked all day breakfasts and specials. Very generous portions of good quality food. With plenty of accomodations for vegan, gluten free, etc.

Andy and I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toasted sourdough bread, it was the best that we have ever tasted. Mike is a very bubbly Bristolian, just like myself! Great welcome and lovely banter. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much. We will see you again soon. Lin & Andy 😀
