We are at the chippy with outdoor seating. We ordered from an efficient but not overly outgoing lady on the counter. Drinks are self service out of the fridge sort of behind the counter which felt strange. You get a beeper to tell you when your order is ready.
The food was good the light bite cod was mostly demolished by my toddler and it was a good size but for an adult lunch. My Dad had the scampi and it was nice maybe a little over done but not bad. Chips were great.
Came back for the restaurant and it was great. I had the Lobster Thermidor, half a lobster was £28 and whole lobster was £48 (Mid September '23) it was amazing. I also had the Popcorn Scallops for starter, I really enjoyed those too, they tasted nice and fresh and our Toddler enjoyed the 'fish nuggets' too! As others have said the restaurant is nice but the toilets need renovating, not dirty but not in keeping with the upmarket feel they are going with.
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch here and everyone really enjoyed it.
Food was excellent, and well presented.
Lovely views of the harbour as we were enjoying our meal.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
This was our 2nd visit and would like to return.
On the quieter side of the harbour, it was an interesting place with fine dining upstairs and a bar/cafe/takeaway downstairs. Bridlington is the lobster capital of the UK, and we tried it. It was as any lobster should be and presented well. Service was good, staff friendly, and the interior was nice. The harbour view was great. Slightly expensive because of fine dining experience.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the fish and chips were delicious, big portion, I had lobster thermidor I only wish I had a whole lobster as it was also delicious.
Great views of the harbour with friendly service.
Would recommend for all you seafood lovers
What an amazing little gem !!
Whilst strolling along the front looking for somewhere to have a drink and something to eat, we very luckily came upon this little gem!
To say the food was amazing ,is an underestimate! Both me and mu partner were blown away on how beautiful the food was and how nice the staff are.
I never spend time writing reviews, but this restaurant deserves 5 stars!!!!!! Highly recommended if you love very fresh ,beautiful, amazing, very tasty sea food !!!!
Popped in with my partner for an evening dinner. Staff was very nice and attentive. We sat down upstairs next to windows so we had fantastic view of harbour and local beach. We never ate lobster before and we were a bit scared to finally try it but staff took time to explain how the dish is served and what is eatable and what is not. We both took half a lobster 🦞 and we really enjoyed it. It was definitely an experiance. Was it good? I can't compare it to anything as it was my first time. I enjoyed it 😊 see photo. Dessert was even better, lovely apple crumble, good portion so save yourself some space 😉
Only feedback I have! Toilets for customers could do with an update so that they can fit the decor of the restaurant.
The outward appearance of the establishment hides a little gem of a restaurant. The Moules Mariniere with fresh herbs was very tasty, and the lobster bisque was excellent. The staff were friendly and obliging. The views into the working harbour are unique. You can even see the Iconic Yorkshire Belle if the tide is right. The rooms that overlook the harbour are comfortable.
I didn't stay in the rooms so no review for that. The food was great (expensive, but seemed right for the area). The bar and outside area was clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and ordering food was really efficient (you are given a device that will notify you when your food is ready, so that you can take a seat).
Visited with the family for fish, chips, mushy peas and drinks. Great service and lovely food. The views of the harbour were amazing too.
Great little find and lovely food! Don't get the fish and chips! There are so many more wonderful dishes to choose from, you would be missing out if you just had fish and chips!
Our first visit and it won't be our last. Friendly service with delicious food. Bleak outside, but cosy and tranquil inside. I do recommend the tasty Popcorn queenies!
Had a lovely weekend here with my partner the room was very clean we had a good view for a city view (the other side is over the harbour) the staff were lovely and well mannered helped our every need, the food was excellent especially the fish and chips
Food excellent, wine good, service was slow, but friendly. well worth the wait. Just don't expect to be in and out in a hurry. Oh, and a bonus: dogs allowed.
Thoroughly enjoyed our lobster, very tasty and cooked to perfection, garlic butter
Went with my grand daughter who loved the bisque
Staff very friendly and helpful and couldn’t resist an icecream from the counter when we left
Great views too
Would definitely recommend
We had booked for our wedding anniversary. I had printed menu and we were excited to try but the menu had been changed so we left.
