Food was amazing value for money chili burger tasted delicious nice and fresh. Service was fast and pleasant.
We stayed for the Halloween weekend. Great touring pitch and excellent food in Makis. Great atmosphere in the family room for halloween; fire acts, stilt walkers, 360 camera, kids games and a Pink tribute. Great job Makis, we loved it đ
Nice site showers great staff very friendly. Only one problem is dogs allowed in the bar. ok with one or two but ten no. Plus barking, sorry like dogs, but it was like a dogs party. I blame owners
Only had drinks. A little soulless on a damp Tuesday evening. The bar area is set up for shows on a small stage, but when there is no show on, it feels a little strange. Staff were great and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Outside area is dreary and seems an afterthought.
Nice place to visit, however service was not great, stood waiting a long time whilst others that arrived after me got served 1st. Better customer service training needed as staff were quite rude.

We've stayed in a chalet on South Shore a few times and always go into Makis on an evening.

Went 2 nights out of the 3. 1st night we popped in for a meal. It was nice, great live music and the kids room was brilliant. My little girl loved the second night more than the first as she's very young and loved dancing to the music. Arcade is small but great. Friendly staff very polite. If we visit the area again would definitely be going back in. Everything you need in one place.
Had a lovely holiday here with only a couple complaints and theyâre nothing major, for example advertisement of events and shows/times could be better. Yes there are signs but no times. And no brochure on arrival with ânight time entertainmentâ advertised. Also there was a bouncy castle thing and music on one day we didnât know was happening and we wouldâve loved to know about because thatâs an attraction we would book to come to. So maybe better advertisement online and on arrival too would be beneficial. This isnât a negative just a way of improvement. We loved the site itself and the easy access to the beach. All staff were brilliant!!! Except the kids entertainer⊠1 the kids did rubbish games, 2 she stood behind a desk and didnât join in at all⊠thatâs not how Iâve ever seen kids entertainers before. And even some staff had words to say about her when my daughter was very upset about it. But aside from that. A lovely holiday
