Really nice fish and chips, haddock was skinned and boned brilliantly. Very traditional sea side chippy. Fish tasted nice and fresh and the batter was crisp, would definitely come back if I was in the area. Staff were really friendly and welcoming.
Good value for money, Wonderful staff, good for families young old anyone really. Lovely batter food delicious. Reminded me of good old fashioned hospitality with modern twists. There's nothing wrong with that.
We came in at around 4.30pm and found very welcoming and friendly staff. We both had fish and chips with mushy peas, absolutely delicious. Fish was perfectly cooked with lovely crisp batter, good sized portions and very reasonable price. We were offered free refills of tea. Even though they were sup
What a gem. Family of 4 got fish n chips, battered sausages, steak pie and peas. Not usually a fan of chunky chips but these were still crispy on the outside a and fluffy inside. Good sausages and big fluffy fish, amazing batter, really light. Immaculately clean and decorated, I think the original d
We came in at an odd time during the afternoon - right after their daily special but not quite closing time yet. The inside looked quaint and gave an "aged diner" sort of vibe. Staff was lovely and helpful; they even let us order the special even though it was way past the schedule! As for the food
Just sat here having lunch the staff are very welcoming and the cafe is spotless. Brilliant music in back ground . Fish was cooked to perfection lovely cup of tea. Couldn't ask for anything better definitely be calling again 👍
Very attentive staff, went over and above. The fish and chips were lovely and very reasonably priced. It's a very typical 50s diner with 50s music to go with it . A really lovely experience and took us back to our childhoods
I had the loveliest lunch here today. The fish was cooked to perfection and tasted extremely fresh. The batter was so tasty, the best I’ve ever had!! I had the fish with chips and mushy peas as well as curry sauce and gravy and it was all delicious!! It’ll completely ruin fish and chips in London fo
Nice friendly staff, good service, good size portions, and food was lovely. Three meals and drinks for just over £30 in nice clean surroundings. Decor from the 70's made a nice change from the usual. Would happily eat here again.
