Haven't been here for years to be honest. What a change from the last time I went the food was great. We had a table of 10 and it all came together. I had tandoori chicken skewers delicious they were. Service also was excellent table was cleared quickly after we'd eaten. Definitely recommend it
Lovely food & service not too long of a wait. We arrived at 7.30pm and was told they stopped food at 8pm we wasn't made to rush our decision. Staff are friendly and attentive.
We’ve come away on a holiday trip and have visited The Friendly Forester twice, once for lunch and once for our evening meal. Both times were great experiences, the meals were delicious, served quickly and warm.

The staff here are fab. We stayed locally while we were house hunting in the area. We got chatting to the barman and he gave us loads of advice on areas to look at. The food was great with a good choice of menu. Will definitely make this a regular stop.
We had booked a table which was very easy to do on line. Upon arrival we was greeted by a very pleasant member of the team and showed to our table with instructions to order and pay at the bar.
