A lovely cafe in a great setting , had a smashing breakfast with a pot of tea. What could be better than good food, great service and a sea view

After walking from the town centre to fraisthorpe on a lovely warm sunny day, we went to the Cowshed for lunch! We ordeeed two paninis which were fantastic but that wasn't all, at the till there was a large selection of cakes, all home baked and all looking amazing, so I opted for caramel shortbread- now let me tell you I have a very sweet tooth but I have never tasted one so nice and not only that the size!! My better half went for the chocolate brownie and that was equally eaten with the same authority and with none left on the plate! A place you must visit if in the area- a golden nugget on the east coast! We will be back!!!

We've been here a few times after a long walk on the beach, and although we've always enjoyed their food the experience has been a bit slow. They've now changed the menu to simplify it, and you order at the counter and get a buzzer so you know when your food is ready, and everything is much more efficient and easier for the customers. I got a beef burger with cheese and fried onions. Was a good burger for the price. My wife got a bacon bap which was good, except they forgot to put any butter in! We also got a scone to take away and after eating it later in the day can confirm it was a very good scone. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Today we called in prior to a walk along the sands to Filey - Americano and sausage roll. On our return we repeated the coffee and a slice of cake. There's always a warm greeting. Extremely clean and warm.

Possibly the nicest place on the east coast for a bite to eat and a brew. A place I have visited many times over the years and it has never failed to impress, with freshly made food including bakery items. The restaurant is also dog friendly which is refreshing to see, and looks over Bridlington and Fraisthorpe bay which on a clear day is stunning. I was saddened today to learn that only yesterday the restaurant reopened after 4 months of closure due to the lack of staff and the inability to provide table service because of it, meaning only now a takeaway option is available. There is also a charity box in the toilets where over the years over £28,000 has been raised for local charitable organisations! Incredible!! - SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS!! Anyone in the Bridlington area looking for a job, get in touch with these guys! A lovely environment to work in by the looks of it!

First time I had been there and I just called in for a coffee and light lunch. I had the soup of the day and it was excellent. Nice view of the sea from the restaurant. Staff were friendly and welcoming.I'll definitely be back!

Lovely little coastal family walk destination for lunch. Reasonably priced considering their niche location for walkers and mountain bikers. Seating inside or out with heaters and extending rain canopy unless it's too windy. Loved it.

Decent cafe and take away options, perfect for a post beach stroll refreshment. Plenty of options on the menu with indoor and outdoor seating. The calf shed is the take away option with a more limited menu, still good if you want to grab a quick drink and bite. Toilets available to all beach goers without going into the cafe, parking can be tight when it’s busy. You can walk from the beach car park, it’s not too far. Based on my take away experience from the calf shed I’d totally recommend. If you’re in need and at this beach it’s not like you have any other options anyway haha!

Amazing little find on my break over to the east coast After all the years heading in to Bridlington, never been to this little gem before, would definitely recommend a visit, and I can guarantee after the first visit, you will return again and again, the staff are so welcoming as soon as you arrive, seating in plentiful inside and out, a pet friendly place is a added bonus. The food is freshly cooked to order, and is of a very high standard, a great selection too, and to finish of any meal the cakes!!

Walked from Barmston beach to Bridlington South Beach. Found this spot and it’s a lovely half way point to stop off for a drink and food. Lovely food and fantastic environment. The garlic butter in the steak ciabatta was certainly the highlight and the bread was the perfect balance between crunchy and soft. The only thing for us, and it’s purely based on personal preference, is that the steak was a bit well-done. It’d be the perfect ciabatta if the meat was a bit pinker. Still highly recommend.

Fabulous find by my friend that I went with, it's not signposted from the main road but either road to Fraisthorpe Beach will get you there. Good food and good Sea Views! Accessibility good - car park nearby, level entrance with manual opening door. Toilet for disabled (no pull cord). Indoor and outdoor seated area with sea views, a log burner tucked away in one corner. Car Park (small) - free near the Restaurant. The Beach Car Park is further along, once you finish at The Cow Shed they ask you to move on there, currently £3 per Car... Menu - we enjoyed our food, reasonable vegetarian options, vegans ask for food adjustments. I had a Brie's, Walnut and Honey Panini and they were not stingy on the Walnuts. Staff - very friendly. Toilets - beautifully clean, including toilet for disabled (no pull cord) and baby change.
