We came here on a Saturday afternoon to take advantage of a Christmas present. We had to pre-book afternoon tea and on arrival were taken to special area of the cafe. Each table was beautifully laid put with cups, saucers and plates ready for drinks and food to be brought to our table. Having chosen a window seat, we enjoyed a little bit of the spring sun while waiting. Tea was served first followed by sandwiches, cakes and scones. The sandwich selection included ham, egg and cress and cucumber accompanied by salad and cheese straws. Once finished we made short work of the lemon drizzle cake, cream meringue and lemon curd tart, quickly followed by a jam and cream fruit scone. Simply delicious! Not our usual Saturday food, but worth a visit for a treat. Lovely food, pleasant and helpful staff and a clean, bright well maintained restaurant. Been to the other cafe previously but not to this one. We will be back to sample more

East field has a really nice cafe with good food and varied menu. The plants and other merchandise is all good and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Went into Eastfield Garden Centre late yesterday afternoon . We had seen a garden sofa set on Wednesday and were undecided whether to purchase it or not. Met with Simon who couldn’t have been more helpful with advice and service.
Delivered and assembled today . Thank you Simon for your wonderful help.

Had afternoon tea yesterday.. Was gorgeous.. Only downfall we only had the one lot of drinks nobody came to see us and ask if all was ok and would we like more drinks. Other than that the food was lovely
Excellent cafe - polite service, nice cakes, hot coffee. Excellent baby facilities.
Visited here recently and what polite and helpful staff they have, I picked up a few garden plants, as well as returned an item not properly working , no questions asked, fully accommoding, replaced straight away, centre has a restaurant as well as to cafes to eat and drink so a great place to spend a few hours xx

Lovely garden centre and food areas, if you don't have dogs!
I feel this centre could be more dog friendly, the dogs are only allowed in the garden centre areas themselves. Not in the food hall (which is all practically covered up anyway) or cafe areas.
You have to sit outside if you want to eat with your dogs, which isn't practical during the colder months!
I understand some people don't like dogs whilst they're eating inside, but maybe a compromise is a good suggestion?
Having another, smaller indoor area that is designated for those with dogs.
Maybe have more signs stating if the dogs bark excessively or are disruptive whilst in the designated indoor cafe area, they will be asked to leave. Encouraging more well trained dog's on the premises.
As for the food court, after my experience today, I felt very embarrassed being asked to leave when I saw no signs anywhere stating no dogs were allowed there, and got told by another member of staff that we could use the toilet facilities there, who knew we had dogs! It was a little confusing.
I do understand and will take my custom elsewhere when I have my dogs with me, but I feel some more signs and the "dog friendliness" here needs to be clarified, from my experience today. It isn't that dog friendly.
Had lunch and full English breakfast here last weekend. It was all cooked and presented really well. Definitely recommend eating here. We were in two different restaurants as breakfast was in the plant pot one.
Called in on Wednesday for a coffee ☕ and a bite to eat. I had the Bacon 🥓 Brie & Cranberry Panini whilst my husband had the toasted BLT - Both absolutely delicious 😋 and came with side salad 🥗 and crisps. Before leaving we bought two small quiches and a tub of coleslaw to take home. They were also delicious. Will definitely be calling back in - thank you to the staff who served us. Very polite and courteous.
Nice food good value for money the Sunday lunch looked really good one to try next time. Pleasant service, and the food came quickly to say it was so busy. Nice garden centre with plenty of choice.

Absolutely stunning meal. All 3 in our party had something different and all enjoyed very much. Complements to the chef/chefs.
Just the cafe this time, the one on the right as you go in. Egg sandwich, hunters chicken pannene, tea and hot chocolate. Lovely, no complaints
In fairness a family members just about lives here !!! I live to far away to do so, but can def appreciate the plaudits.
Great garden centre and place to eat and staff are fab too. Great range of plants and food and much more too.
Only visited the Christmas section but it has some nice displays and good variety of decorations.
