We originally booked 1 night here, but after our meal and chatting to the staff, we loved the place so much we booked another night. The food is really good, and the staff are really friendly. The rooms are nice and clean and fresh. Would highly recommend.

Was my third meal here; and loved it as much as all the other times. Atmosphere is good, service excellent and the food surprisingly gorgeous. The Chef is extremely proficient and accommodating. I really like it here as it’s uncomplicated, functionally pleasing, aesthetically pleasing and the menu hearty and filling. Definitely worth a trip out of you fancy a traditional not too fussy meal out on short notice. Not fine dining- a typical British hostelry done extremely well. Consistent!!!! Which is a really good thing.

Visited for Sunday lunch which to be fair was enjoyable. Plenty of meat and fresh vegetables along with the obligatory Yorkshire pudding. 👍 The following part of my review is down to "personal choice" but not just mine in our party? If anything it's the starters that feel a bit 80's that feels like the menu needs some sort of wow factor injection??? Sorry Chef I don't mean to be overly fussy but there's a lot of competition out there? Location. 3*? 🙈 bonkers really but yes it was a sunny day even in February and believe it or not we absolutely cooked in the sun shining through the windows! Just be aware if you are placed near the windows and the 🌞 is out? It can be a bit warm! The crew looking after you are enthusiastic and friendly. Overall we had a nice meal together as a family group and that essentially is what it's all about!

Visited here for a evening meal on a recent holiday in the area. Booked late and they managed to get us in at short notice. Stacey, our waitress was lovely. Very happy and friendly, making us feel welcome. The food was excellent and fantastic value for money, with mains starting from just over ten pounds. Which we thought was great considering the surroundings. They had Guiness zero on tap which was a bonus for my husband. Great place if you are staying in cottages and caravans nearby. A bit out of the way of you are staying in Bridlington itself.

We stopped in the 3 pod's in the grounds. They are fantastic. We went between Christmas and New Year. The pod's are so warm and cosy. The food from the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the East Coast. Five minutes to Bridlington, fifteen minutes to Filey and thirty minutes to Scarborough

Good experience in a small town. A small place, there was a bit of smell in the room, maybe because the building is very old but overall a nice place to stay
