The Bay View Cafe on the top floor of Boyes is a charming place to eat. The menu is small and the food is nice. Nothing about it is overly exciting. There is a lift to all floors. The toilets were handy but, on the day we visited, the gent's toilet was out of order. Also, given that it was extremely quiet when we called, there was a 20 minute wait for the food. Any other, similar, cafe would only get 3 stars. But... The views are spectacular!

Visited the bayview cafe on the top floor, the cafe is very clean and tidy with a large seating area. The staff are friendly and the cafe is reasonably priced. The amazing view of Bridlington and the bay are a highlight of the visit

We popped to the top floor to use the cafe, great views across Bridlington. Nicely set out, very spacious, it's been improved greatly from our last visit. Popular with the locals, always a good sign. Good food and great prices.

If Boyes don't have it in stock, you probably don't need it! They have more stuff than you can shake a stick at. No stick to shake? You can get one here and shake it to your hearts content! Staff are generally helpful and can point you to the article you can't find. (But you know it's in there somewhere.) Generally good value, you might find those picture hooks cheaper in a DIY store, but the 10p saving isn't worth the effort! Store layout can be a bit confusing and it seems to change regularly and at random! Still worth calling in if you're in town.

Boyes is what I would describe as 'old school' and thats a compliment! A department store that really does have almost everything and at fair prices. Staff are friendly and helpful, its a real asset to Bridlington.

Aswell as all the usual things you know you can get, go to the top floor cafe for super views, good value food and a trip down memory lane! All staff of all ages deserve a mention for their honour and all round 'niceness'!
