Brilliant meals we all enjoyed our meals 2 had the carvery 1 butter chicken and 1 salmon and noodles in a broth. Service was good served quickly which is good as it was really busy.

Nice friendly pub,not open on Mondays Tuesday to Saturday 2 meals for £15menu available, plus normal menu available, sky sports shown. There are 2 dog friendly eating areas available to have a meal or just have a drink and watch sky sports .
Really good quality food and massive portions, it just took a fair while to arrive at the table - It's clearly popular for good reason, but maybe they need a couple more staff. Still very much recommended if you're in the area.
The food was 10/10. The chefs were very sociable and took time to speak to us whilst serving us our carvery. The only downfall was that the young waitresses looked a bit deflated and when we asked for our bill, one of the waitresses was a bit ignorant.

Went for a meal for 4, I had a double stack burger which was excellent. The wife has a veg sausage toad in the hole which was lovely and our friends had curry and lasagne which they enjoyed.
Been trying to get in here for number of years, always very busy. There was plenty of room in the large wooden shed area at the front, we were told by man, either manager or owner that he couldn't let us in there as it was for people with dogs and couldn't make exception for us, we were told to wait
