Absolute belter of a country pub. Just what we wanted. Stopped off to stay in the T5 in their car park, they were most welcoming. Food, banging. Proper pub food but better.
Stopped at the Crown in the motorhome and wanted electric but had all gone, owners tried to accommodate me with electric but didn't have the correct adapter but went out of their way to help. The pub is a country pub with great owners big open fire really nice atmosphere would definitely call back w
Lovely country pub with plenty of parking and beer garden. Their home made food is to die for and one of the best local Sunday carvery.
What a surprise this was - very unassuming from the outside but as soon as I walked in and smelled beer (as all pubs should smell of but few do these days) I knew we were going to be OK. The beer was great and so was the music but the food hit another level entirely, my pork belly was superb as wer

Hands down the best pub food we’ve had in a very long time! All four meals couldn’t be faulted! Loved the atmosphere, friendly staff/owners and my daughter fell in love with pub dog Rolo! A great find!
Popped by, stopped off Saturday night in our camper van. We were made to feel very welcome, Pickles the Frenchie is lovely, our Schichon took a while to warm to her, but she is lovey. I had the Faggots, my wife has the dirty fries, both were a decent, hearty meal, well cooked, proper wholesome pub
Went for Father’s Day lunch for their Carvery. Plenty of food, selection of three types of meats, large vegetable selection. Yorkshire puds homemade. Well priced. Very friendly staff, great service. Clean. Enough parking place. Booking essential.

A little gem, we love this pub! Warm friendly welcome from the landlord and all the staff. We booked a table for Mothers Day, and although obviously extremely busy, the meal was excellent. The carvery is delicious and plentiful with a good selection of home cooked meats and vegetables. Highly recomm
Had the carvery today and the beef was delicious, cooked to perfection and really tender. Would definitely go again.
Very friendly family run traditional pub. Great music from the 80s Food good and ales on pump
Great pub with excellent menu. Friendly staff and first class service. Value for money too with generous portions. Well worth a visit.
My brother and I booked a table for lunch today, on arrival I noted that the waitresses all had plastic facemasks on - well-done team, although not every member of staff was wearing a face covering. We were shown to our table, which was in an old alcove, very quaint (mind your head there). We order
