Brilliant pub in a nice tucked away area. Owner was very welcoming and kind, 5* service. We really enjoyed our drinks and meal there and could not believe the value for money, contrary to some of the reviews on Google. All I can say is, take little notice of all the bad reviews. After all it is the
Amazing, mouth watering meal in a lovely, proper pub in beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to go there again. Extensive menu of home cooked food, deserts to die for...

A lovely traditional country pub. We were looked after extremely well and the food was wonderful and clearly home cooked. This is an old school independent country pub of the type you rarely find these days. If you want a forgettable, vanilla chain pub, head for a Brewers Fayre. However, if you want

Great Sunday roast, fine pints, good wine service and wine list, table service very straightforward.
