Don't be surprised if on a return visit you are welcomed by your name and they remember what you drink! What an exceptional service, especially by Esther and Charli. The food was better than expected and presentation was very good. Please be patient on busy days, as this place is popular!
Came here Saturday teatime without a reservation and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Zak is the most exceptional bar man I've come across in years. Attentive, accommodating and readily going out of his way to make sure I was catered for, even though he was covering everything by himsel
I eat here quite often and as always, the food and service were excellent. We were eating before going to a show and prompt service meant the evening flowed smoothly.
Rooms were basic, but done the job for a night stay, clean and tidy. Service was brilliant, the woman serving and sorting our orders was amazing went above and beyond. Breakfast was delicious will definetely use again when we're back in Somerset visiting family 😁☺️
I haven't eaten here for several years but I should have come sooner. Four of us were given a warm welcome and shown to a table. It was late afternoon and quiet. I placed the order at the bar with another friendly member of staff. I ordered a medium rump steak and it was very tender and tasty, the b
First time trying for food this evening. To be brutally honest was one of the nicest meals out for quite a while. Having a selection of starters, mains and drinks. All good came to the table well cooked and hot hot. Tasted very good, service was good and efficient and overall a good experience. Will
From the outside it looks like a Chinese Restaurant, red and gold lettering. Inside the Restaurant widens out and surprisingly spacious. The menu to our pleasant surprise was authentic Italian dishes. I had beef tagliatelle and my wife a vegetable lasagne. Both very nice and plentiful. Tirimasso fo
We had lunch with our friends over the weekend, and as it wasn't my first rodeo here I knew what to expect, the rest of our group didn't, and I wasn't at all disappointed! As in other Marstons, we had to order at the bar on a pay-as-you-go basis, which for me is absolutely fine, the day of the 'tab'
Great service during our carvery visit yesterday. Food was really well presented and staff very meticulous. Thanks for a lovely meal. Have since been back for breakfast. We phoned ahead as we were not sure as to what time they stopped serving. They told us half past ten so explained we were passing
A staff member, her name is Sue was very helpful in helping me to book in. When I tried to put in my date of birth. It would’ve been a long scroll back from 2023. Unfortunately, although extremely comfortable, I didn’t sleep throughout the night. I thought at first it was a door being slammed, which
Food was lovely, atmosphere was great. Shout out to carley always has a smile on her face, gave us amazing service. Will definitely recommend it to others
Overall its always a lovely atmosphere. Amazing n hardworking staff. Friendly polite & helpful but it's getting very busy so maybe few extra staff needed. Food & drink options are very good Always made welcome . Keep up the great work & staff are definitely worth 👏 applauding.
Had a breakfast and it was absolutely beautiful. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. Will definitely be going back again and would definitely recommend if your looking for a good breakfast. 10/10 👌
Stayed on a Friday night just before Easter. We had booked a meal but were late due to traffic. The staff went above and beyond to keep the kitchen open for us and the food was great. Rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Would highly recommend!
