Dave’s Diner was recommended by a local. It was sooooo good. The batter was crispy and fresh. You could totally taste the good quality of the fish. We ordered both Hake and Cod. Both were good but I preferred the Hake! It had more flavour.

We opted for Dave's Diner on the second night of our holiday as everywhere was really busy. At the time we went (during covid restrictions) it was takeaway only and I thought they managed the social distancing very well, being a small establishment. Really excellent fish and chips, the cod was so fresh and all cooked to order, light batter, very crispy and no soggy spots. The chips were the best this year, crisp and light. Fan place to sit and have some fresh stuff, dog friendly and people friendly too. Superb made my day
