I felt really special! The lovely young man sat us in a booth and put the TV on for the rugby, and had the best service we have had anywhere. Food was lovely , as we're the drinks. A really lovely experience.

Been twice for a meal was not disappointed the food on both occasions was very pleasant and value for money. The staff are very polite and willing to help with anything you ask of them.
Nice friendly pub with large beer garden, plus outdoor TV and bar for summer events. Menu is well priced with a decent selection. I tried the kebabs which well cooked and presented. Really nice to see a two course senior menu as well. Greene King app worked well for ordering.

Very nice pub in Bridgwater. The food is really good and there is a lotus cheescake which is outstanding. They have a huge terrace with Tv and live sports such as F1, football or tennis.
The personell are really friendly and eficient and they put wimbledon as we asked them to.

We always visit The Malt Shovel. This time a family of four adults, we were serve amazing food, the flavours and quality were outstanding. the service was excellent and staff are always friendly. it's a pleasure to go here we will be back again.

Good pub with decent quality food and great outdoors area with grass.
Indoors they have plenty of space with an area for darts and pool.
Considering it's an anagram of 'malt hovels' it's relatively decent. Foods alright, staff are friendly and I haven't been stabbed in the toilets or anything. In a world filled with pubs, this is just another pub. Nothing more, nothing less. No complaints from me.
