Thank you so much for your exceptional hospitality today for my dad's wake. Carla and Karen are just wonderful, they looked after the family brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you
Went for Sunday lunch. We hadn't booked, but they managed to fit us in. Lovely happy attentive staff. Carvery was really good, with generous meat portions.
Sent here by the incredibly odd landlord at The Tynte Arms (look them up for the prequel to this review!).
Danny and the rest of the team were absolutely fantastic and couldn't do enough to accommodate us - a family without a booking during a busy Sunday lunchtime service.
We'd left the flooding at Minehead and were desperate for some comfort and good, warm food and The Enmore Inn delivered both in spades: Veggie carveries were whipped up and me, my wife, and infant daughter were made to feel incredibly welcome.
We're not in this part of the country often but, if we are again, we would absolutely return.
"EXCELLENT"!!!
They do an "absolutely excellent" Sunday Carvery from 12 - 3pm!!!
I was down from Liverpool visiting my elderly father who walks with a walker and has dementia, but mum & dad often went there in the past, so, I thought it would be good for him and it was!!!! There are several steps inside and the staff were amazing 👏 so very kind and accommodating, wonderfull, lovely people!!! 😄
The food was not just excellent, but, "SUPERB" - the meat had been slow cooked and was delicious 😋 hot, all home cooked and plenty of it, furthermore, the lovely lady chef serving was so very helpful!!!
(By the way, I advise to book in advance as it's very popular)!!!
"VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED"!!!
(Just as a sidenote, many years ago, my brother Nick & I, spent all our school holidays working on "Purnell's Farm" Stonehall Lane, Enmore, as our Nan lived in the bungalow there and we would often "stick-up" for the skittle team at the "Enmore Inn", much has changed, but, to be there brought back such memories👍)!!!
Thankyou for such a wonderfull meal!!
Stopped in for a roast. Friendly staff. A staff meme we apologised for the wait due to staff shortages but personally didn't think we waited long for food, was lovely to be updated and have a friendly chat along with the update. Food was amazing! Finished it all! Even my 3 year old ate more than usual. Very reasonably priced even in the current climate.
Easy to find location and exactly what you expect from a lovely village pub.
100% recommend.
Will definitely be returning!
Very nice place to eat good food friendly staff
Lovely staff, great food and reasonably priced. Amazing experience.
Loved the carvery. The stuffing was awesome, great of the food great to. Price was worth the meal!
Lovely little pub. Friendly and welcoming staff! Not sampled the food yet but menu looks awesome. I will be back!
New owners are top notch. Food was brilliant and Sunday roast was well received. Also knock out a cracking burger. Give it a visit.
The landlord and landlady were extremely welcoming and friendly. We were a group of 14 and they went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us comfortable. They also managed to get all our food out at the same time - which I find a lot of big restaurants even struggle to do - and all needs were catered for amongst our group. Wide menu choice and prices are great.
Here for a wedding reception, great staff, good food and a lovely atmosphere! Xoxox
Nice place good atmosphere. Main meal was very good , desert was very poor neither the quantity or the quality was there.Perhaps another choice would have been different but 2 of us had Apple Crumble, it was more like stewed apple with custard and just a sprinkling of crumble, just like the stuff you buy in a packet in the supermarket. I'm trying to be fair but when you pay an additional £4.95 for it you expect better. As they would say in Star Trek. It was crumble Jim but not as we know it!!
Carvery and puddings were good value for money. Carvery meat was good quality. We enjoyed our Sunday lunch here, and it's great for a larger group or for kids.
Lovely atmosphere to have a good time
Pleasant friendly staff. Food is ok. Would be great if more was truly home cooked. But you do get a plate full and you can eat it. Place has a nice ambiance.
We had Christmas lunch with Emma and her Team and I cannot commend them enough on a thoroughly delicious meal and warm friendly atmosphere. Emma was so helpful before hand when booking, I would recommend a visit to the Enmore to anyone. We will be back and once again thanks for a lovely day.
