Lovely place to stop over in our motorhome with free electric, had great meal & staff excellent. My family live in the village & so great place for us, will be back!😁

Called in on Sunday evening on the way from Taunton back to Weston. Very convenient for the M5, excellent welcome from friendly landlady and staff. Great selection on the menu. The service was fast and friendly and the food excellent. Would definitely recommend.

We came out on Mothering Sunday staff very friendly and the Sunday roast was lovely and the kids meals were a good size would highly recommend x

Christell and her team provided an amazing post funeral spread. Her staff were so attentive and pleasant. All our guests expressed their delight in both the food and pub itself. Christell made a very difficult day more comforting than we could imagine. Thank you so much for everything.
Lovely friendly atmosphere, fabulous food and great service. Have been several times never disappointed whether it's for a large family booking for dinner or the two of us just for a lunchtime snack always brilliant. Highly recommend

Went for dinner tonight. I wasn't disappointed, excellent meal and staff were great 👍 Had Chicken New Yorker for main and Toblerone Cheesecake for dessert 😋.
We stopped here randomly as a halfway stop for our journey. The staff were really friendly and polite. The facilities were immaculate. The food was lovely (and we have 2 very fussy children) the premises were child and dog friendly the kids loved the park and Gizmo the dog.
The staff were busy and when the children asked them a question they stopped and gave the same level of customer service as they did for us adults.
Also there were a few Vegatarian options which suited our family as well.
I would highly recommend this place.
Great food and beer. The Puriton burger takes a good appetite to finish but is worth the effort. Large portions and no end of extras available. Service was great and a real credit to the village.
Great location just off M5 - we use it for motorhome stopover. Friendly and helpful staff. Food is to the higher end of reasonably priced and is well cooked. Chips are especially good. My dessert, creme brulee, was slightly disappointing as slightly split/curdled.
Motorhome stopover on the way down to Cornwall from Yorkshire. Less than a minute off the M5. £15 for overnight parking and a hook up. Food and beer good.
Very well priced, great service and top notch food. Not a single complaint and therefore 5 stars.
My wife and I held a meal for 24 people the staff Gemma and kirsty were great hosts and everyone enjoyed the food we held this meal for her mother who sadly passed away in September we were looked after and everyone enjoyed the day at the puriton inn .we truly recommend this pub for there hard work and hospitality

Lovely welcoming family and dog friendly village pub, with very relaxed atmosphere! Owners were very friendly and so were their bar team! Great beer garden with fab play area for children! Only stopped for Shandy's and fizz for the kids and a bowl of chips on this occasion, but will definitely be back for food and will pop by more often! Gizmo the resident retriever pup is adorable! Sky sports shown here too! What a lush hidden little gem! Just off M5, J23, with large carpark! Lots of improvements taking place too for the summer!
