Chantry Tea Gardens - Bridgwater - Photo album

Loved the stop here in the middle of a long walk. The owners had their patrons best interests at heart by luring all the wasps to a little "feeding station" with jam or some other sweet treats, so they mostly stayed away from the outdoor tables. We had only a tea and a coffee, so can't comment in
A wonderfully quaint little tea room run by a (couple?) from their own back garden, which they’ve obviously converted into a stunning outside area with plenty of tables under shade. Everything is homemade and tastes delicious. We had scones, tea, apple juice and ginger cake. Can’t fault any of it. T
Lovely location! And really liked the quaintness of this venue. Seems really popular for walkers, cyclists, tourists, children, older people - everyone welcome! Price for a cream tea is a little steep I have to say!
The weather was beautiful so eating outside was OK apart from the bugs flying around, don't know if they have seats inside, plenty of water for the dogs though our two were fuzzy and just watched the birds drink, food and drink were brought out quickly.
Good food and service. The garden is generally pretty with flowers and seating. There are a huge amount of wasps around the recycling bins which visited the seating areas. Other than this, it was enjoyable. Parking onsite, very close to Kilve Beach, so great location.
One of the most wonderful, beautiful places that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing! I stumbled across this place after a visit to the beach. I didn’t even know that existed. I walked in and was surrounded by beautiful scents from the flowers, bird song and buzzing bees busy at work! I ord
Popped in after completing the Kilve and coastal walk, best scones I've ever had! Fantastic setting and great service. Will definitely be returning when I'm back in the area.
Quaint tea rooms. Gardens were lovely but now coming to the end of the season.
Delightful, selection of sandwiches including gf bread and alternative milks, friendly service set in the grounds of a ruined Chantry. Slightly odd is everything is served in cardboard boxes and paper cups, there are recycling bins for everything though
Delightful outside drinks, cake and ice cream. Lovely garden adjoining an English heritage ruin. Food served from an even older cottage. Coffee and walnut cake was scrumptious. Wild birds are very tame. Service was excellent. Outside seating only with umbrellas.
Lovely little garden with simple, tasty food. Very fresh bread on the sandwiches and superb homemade scones. Great after fossil hunting on Kilve beach!
Thank you for a delightful cream tea experience. The setting is ideallic and is dog and bird friendly.....maybe more reference to the wild birds. We feel privileged to have stumbled across this enchanting place and time willing whilst on holiday, will try to return. We understand why some people g
Such a lovely little outdoor cafe and very covid safe! They do the best clotted cream scones I’ve ever had! Gluten free clotted cream scones are hard to come by, but since discovering this place we’ve come back again for my partners bday. Very friendly staff and great coffees too would highly recomm
