We were so excited to find that the Quantocks finally has a café with superb food and cake! We stopped by here today during our walk and had some amazing toasted sandwiches (definitely recommend the beetroot and goats cheese) and cake. We even got some cookies to get us through the rest of the walk but they didn't last long! (and they were perfect, slightly crunchy on the outside and a bit chewy in the middle). This is a gorgeous café in a lovely setting and hopefully it won't be long before we're back again :)

Well what can I say that hasn’t been said already! This cafe really is a little gem. Perfect place to go either on your own to chill out or with the kids. Very dog friendly and a great little stream for both dogs and kids to paddle in. Not many places do a good flat white but the Foxy Bean does....aswell as a fantastic selection of cakes and smoothies. We will definately be back. Well done guys!

What a lovely place! Fantastic location, love the way it has been done and the coffee and cake tasted great. The environment is warm, very welcoming. We went today and sat out side listening to the stream, will definitely be back! What a wonderful place, highly recommended. X

Really great little cafe. Great coffee, cakes and now toasties. Staff are really helpful and the decoration and art in the walls is really good, interesting and unusual. As well as ample parking you can also park your horse in the horse park away from the car park, or paddle in the stream or consign your over excitable offspring to the “Wild Child” zone opposite and in clear view while you chill with a deliscious smoothie. Walker, mountain bike, horse, child and dog friendly...well actually just overall very friendly, quirky and fun !

What a stunning place to take your children! I felt completely safe knowing they were either in the Wild Child zone or paddling in the shallow river. The cakes are too delicious and the smoothies! Oh wow they’re tasty. I would recommend this beautiful cafe to anyone who wants to find somewhere rural. And with Gratewood just up the road there’s some fantastic walks. We look forward to going back again soon!

This was a gorgeous find to sit & enjoy a coffee & light lunch. Very dog friendly. There is no seating inside the cafe, but there is a large barn to sit in if it rains & other areas to sit outside the cafe. There is a gorgeous carved bench where we sat next to a stream. Very therapeutic. You go inside to order food & drink, then they give you a small device which vibrates when your order is ready to collect. Food & drinks are served to cups/trays that can be recycled in the barn. Friendly staff. There are a few parking spaces just as you drive in & plenty of parking at the back. It's quite a stoney walk, so not great if like me, you have mobility issues. The spaces at the front I believe should be DISABLED PARKING ONLY. There were a lot of cyclist's enjoying the cafe when we were there, so I'm assuming there must be a good cycle route. It was a lovely place to relax for a while.

What a lush little gem of a place, tucked away in the beautiful Quantocks of Somerset. Owned and run by a very lovely New Zealand lady and her daughters. I shall definitely return. Coffee was delicious and made to perfection. Definitely highly recommend trying the pecan/caramel slice yummmmm.

An absolute hidden gem of a place, well worth a visit with the added advantage of being right next to a wood to help walk off lunch.

What a find. It's a bit out of the way but truly worth that little bit of effort to find it. It's part of a working farm and place beside a babbling Brook. It was a dull drizzly day but it still looked fabulous as you approached. The coffee was superb and the selection of cakes and food is excellent. When you enter, you are greated with a walm and friendly welcome. If you are in this area, make the effort, you will not regret it.

Popped in after a walk nearby, what a lovely place! There's a good selection of cake and drinks, we didn't have lunch but the food sounded nice. There's art hanging from the walls, a couple of sofas, and a kids area in one of the covered outside areas. Dogs are welcome outside, I'm not sure about inside. There's also a field to tie up your horse! I think this place will really come into it's own in the summer, there's a stream running alongside that you can sit by, and tables out the front which were busy even on a slightly chilly March afternoon. Looking forward to going back.

Little gem of a cafe in the Quantock hills, plenty of character with tables situated either within the barn or outside by the river, the food was simple but good (I had a bacon muffin and my husband had the frittata) the cake however was on another level and was HUGEEEE! 😍(we had the bannoffee cake) one slice was enough for 2 of us for 2 days! My only criticism would be that everything is served in card boxes with wooden cutlery, I do rather like a proper plate and cutlery!

A top cafe. The food is locally sourced, a wide range of cakes and meals. The tea cakes are delish. The wood burning stove adds character too. Thoroughly recommend a visit. Dog friendly and muddy mountain bike friendly too.
