Always love going here, what's not to like steam and trains, but avoid non operating days as they can be quiet but still worth a visit if in the area.
Lovely place to visit whilst travelling on a steam train. Toilets and refreshments are available.
Brilliant place too go, good Dodd and good beer, great atmosphere and steam trains
Visited it as part of Severn Valley steam railway day out. Was last stop on line and spent 4 hours in and around before return journey. Beautiful castle gardens here with free entrance. Enjoyed funicular ride down the cliff and plenty of shops and places to eat and drink. Stations itself a littl
Very nostalgic a good place for train fantastics young and old and it doesn't have to be about trains the event they were putting on when we were there was Halloween very good effort

Fantastic day out, had an adventure from bridgnorth to bewdley. Then back to Highley to see the museum, quick drink. Then back on the tracks in a perfect little carriage to bridgnorth. Little ones loved every second. So did our group, will definitely come back on the svr. All staff are professional

Very atmospheric, like stepping back in time! Would def recommend stopping off in the Railwaymans arms for a beer as well. Steam train to Kidderminster and a few lovely stations in between. Excellent!
A typical 1960s railway station.
Loverly heritage railway station. Nice cosy pub too 🙂
A special place where the journey starts to kidderminster. Also many of the steam locos being repaired here so always something to see.
Great terminus for the Severn Valley steam train with lots of shops & lovely gardens in the grounds of the old castle.
Just love this place, and a great way to arrive and wander down to the town for a bag of chips by the river followed by an ice cream and then back home on the steam train, perfect day out
A veritable sun trap classic vehicles and a Lancaster flypast oh plus a pint of oldfields heaven.
