The River & Rail Country Inn - Bridgnorth - Photo album

First weekend open after their winter break and brilliant again. Great menu, proper food for children and lots of attention given to the vegetarian options. Can't wait to go back.
Lovely quiet secluded pub and restaurant where you can eat in and out. An interesting and varied medium priced menu. I would recommend the sandwiches, which are very large, and come with fries and side salad and are reasonably priced. A good selection of ales are served. The interior dining area
Great place stopped here for a drink halfway I'm a canoe trip from Bridgnorth to bewdley and have eaten here before Friendly staff great food and beautiful location Highly recommend 👌
Very nice atmosphere for the interior and exterior, meal was perfect besides the steak which was slightly undercooked.
Food was great, nice choice for a pub lunch and staff very helpful. 2 adults and 3 adults sized kids with soft drinks came to just shy of £80 which was great value considering one of us had a £20 steak and sauce.
One of the best places to eat good is amazing service excellent.i had salmon tagetelli , two courses 11.25my second course I had coffee and Petit fours
Stopped off here for lunch whilst canoeing down the river from Bridgnorth to Arley. There were 5 of us and we ate from the deli menu. Beautiful ciabattas, amazing chips and a lovely pot of tea. A special mention to the young man who served us, a credit to the place. Will definitely visit again, bril
Amazingly good Sunday roast! Two adults and two teenage boys, we ate two roast beef dinners and a roast chicken which were all absolutely delicious. The beef was slow roasted overnight and just melted. All the roasts came with Yorkshire puddings and stuffing and a selection of vegetables plus additi
The food was delicious and the waiting staff were super friendly and loved our dog. they were very on the ball with all the new covid secure measures including asking for our track and trace information which they promised would be destroyed in 21 days. Unfortunately their card couldn't reach outsid
Lovely lunch. We had the fish and chips and steak burger, both beautifully presented and delicious. Really nice touch with the complimentary duck starter. Great hosting from Judy. Thank you Wayne and Judy
Visited this lovely pub on the hottest day so far this year. Ordered our drinks and food and sat in the shade outside, perfect. The food arrived and it was just as I expected only better, the staff were all friendly and the service was good. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon. See you again
It's a beautiful setting in a small hamlet next to the river. We had a a 3 course Sunday lunch (set menu with options) for under £15 per person and the food was fantastic! The portion sizes were good and the drinks were not too expensive. We were also able to bring our dog, and the surrounding area
Stopped for a quick break from a long drive. Attractive location, large premises with plenty of room to park and sit outside. Good range of drinks on offer but didn't have time to try the food. I suspect it is busy on summer weekends. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
Outstanding...we stopped off here by chance and just to have a drink...we ended up having 3 courses for £16.95 each, it was a set menu you could choose from and very unusual. When the starters arrived it was funny, I think the chef was related to Heston...food was delicious, hot and gorgeous... Main
Very good food served in sensibly sized portions. Great presentation too with lots of great choices on the menu (the amuse-bouches and starters are a real treat). Definitely our favourite place to eat in Shropshire!
Wayne & Judy catered for a family party this afternoon (18/03/18) and it was fabulous! We could not have asked for a better selection of beautifully prepared food and, wow, was it plentiful!! We had the best time and couldn't recommend this place highly enough! Thank you Wayne & Judy, you did us pro
Food great on the daily menu... Sunday dinner pretty poor cold food. On a whole slow service. Beautiful surroundings. Would go back but wouldn't order the Sunday lunch again.
