a wonderful country pub that, although fairly quiet when we went, it still managed to have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Decent choice on tap and some nice usual snacks. It has some winding corridors, big garden, darts and some books to acquire on donation. Would certainly come back.
What a lovely place. First time visiting and felt so cosy and welcoming as soon as we walked in. pleasant friendly staff and atmosphere. Really yummy food genuinely couldn't fault anything. Would absolutely go again so pleased we found this place! Bonus of open fire to eat by. Can't wait to return!

The interior the place itself is like it has been plucked from Tudor times, really superb interior and exterior, with a really quirky atmosphere that seems to be disappearing amongst many modern pubs.
The food was exquisite to say the least, with the home-cooked menu changing week
Ate here 01/07/23 and we both had the trio of lamb, cooked to perfection as were the new potatoes veg etc. We're not local to here but we stay over in our motorhome. It's our 3rd time at The Plough and the food has never disappointed and to boot, the beer is equally well kept.

Great place to eat, lovely atmosphere, good choice of home cooked food not usual microwaved stuff you get in most pub chains. Had a lovely meal on Saturday night with pleasant attentive staff. Must book Sunday lunch soon!
Good food, reasonable choice of beer and cosy atmosphere. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. One of my all time favourite pubs.
