We were on holiday and booked a last minute afternoon tea. The staff were lovely and were very accommodating. The food was delicious and we loved the different flavoured scones. They brought our 21 year birthday girl a cake with a candle which was a lovely touch. I would recommend this tearoom if you are ever in the area. Also it is dog friendly.

Very nice full English breakfast! Sat at a table outside on the terrace with our dog looking at the views over the otherside of the river, staff were very friendly, service was fast and the food was perfectly cooked. We will definitely return.

Lovely little cafe, good for a light lunch, unfortunately ran out of breakfasts when we were there. Coffee was nice but not quite strong enough for my preference. The views over the horizon of bridgnorth were beautiful and a lively setting for a catch-up. Wish I had the scones cause they looked lovely!

Lovely tea room with a view! Value for money. Delicious food. Scone was still warm and it was massive. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Bridgnorth

Apparently the first people to have an vegan afternoon tea!! Absolutely amazing food , haven’t had an afternoon tea for two years since being vegan and it did not disappoint. Lovely staff and amazing food, will certainly be back for my afternoon tea fix! :)

Delicious food and cakes, beautiful view, great atmosphere and well located. Orange juice was poor quality and not keen on the toilet door being right next to tables, if anyone done a number two in there, you would not want to be sitting at the tables just outside it. Staff were friendly and attentive. A nice vintage tea room.

Had a lovely catch up with my friend in this cute little cafe in a side street, fast service which is great when you have a hungry toddler! Playroom to keep them entertained if needed or we just grabbed some books. The coffee was lush and the food was tasty. Everything was reasonably priced. Staff was very welcoming and happy, would definitely recommend!

The service at this charming cafe is absolutely outstanding. One standout is a talented young blonde waitress who excels at providing exceptional service. Her attentiveness and efficiency truly enhance the dining experience. As for the food, it is simply delightful. The menu offers a wide variety of delectable treats and savory options that are prepared with precision and care. The flavors are rich, the presentation is exquisite, and the quality of ingredients is evident in every bite. If you're looking for a place with excellent service and delicious food, Violet's Tea Room is definitely worth a visit!

We had a fantastic experience. The staff were extremely friendly and the lemon scones were sublime. People by us had pannini"s and said they were fresh and fantastic to. We will definitely go back to try the Ploughman's (and maybe bring a lemon scone or 2 home). Also they all loved Chester our dog. A big thank you to the staff for a lovely lunchtime experience and see you again soon.

Second Time visiting. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Wonderful cakes. Fantastic Tea no matter how you like it! They offer a wide range of other food and drinks too if tea and cake isn’t your...cup of tea. The decor is lovely, with 40’s style tea cups and real wood furnishings everywhere. Fantastic views over Bridgnorth at the one end of the room with a warm cosy atmosphere in the rest. Would highly recommend!

What a fabulous view across the River Severn and the bridge connecting Lower Town and Upper Town. Sisters and I had cake and tea/coffee. Home made cake delicious, one sister had a cream tea. Not alot of seating so try and get a table with the view.

We booked Violets tea room for an 80th Birthday celebration. Really pleased with the service, the folks at Violets really made every effort to make it a wonderful experience. Very generous afternoon tea, I asked for coffee and it was perfect. I'll definitely go back and have tea on the terrace with the wonderful view of low Town Bridgnorth. A really lovry tea room with a vintage flavour
