Absolutely beautiful pub and the scenery outside is exquisite. You get a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains all round. The staff are very professional and friendly and the food is delicious. We had the carvery and you have a choice of three meats and lots of vegetables. They also cater for weddings and other events.

Pub only Service slow on entry need to ask as no one asks if you have booked, once you speak to someone they help, from then service excellent , first beer a problem theakstones old peculiar should not taste sour or bitter, but exchanged as soon as told. The carvery made up for all of this the meat as good as anywhere I've eaten, but the selection and taste of the veg was excellent. My wife ate from the menu very good portions well prepared, wife managed a desert, I brought mine home. Service only three on not being greeted as soon as I entered and stood like a lemon waiting for someone to acknowledge me when actually standing at their welcome station.

We visited for Sunday lunch for my brothers birthday! Service was excellent, the carvery was absolutely beautiful, huge selection of meat and veg, hot and fresh. Will definitely be back soon!

We went for a carvery, it was first class, the meats lovely, the veggies was lovely too, with nice touches to enhance them, we followed up our ample & delightful food with a sundae each, it was first class too, best carvery we have had in a long time, you won't be disappointed 😋

We regularly meet up at The Punchbowl with my sister and her hubby. It is located equal distance between our house in Worcs and their home in Shrops. We only once needed to complain about the meat being tough and they sorted it immediately with apologies. We've been going there regularly for a couple of years and can highly recommend it.

Decent carvery. Big potions. Staff were friendly. The restaurant is in the country pub style. Cosy and comfortable. Not too expensive.

What can I say? As a fairly regular customer, I find that the carvery never fails to live up to its excellent reputation! And the beer is pretty good too.

Good food, just remember to duck if you are over 5' 8" as lots of old beams. Rooms were really nice and one of the comfiest beds I have slept in this year.

Carvery was very good, food was excellent. The only slight issue was perhaps the service, but nothing major we just felt slightly like an inconvenience, but it was mother's day so busy! Otherwise would have been 5 stars.
