Fab little bar on the river. Over the Easter weekend, I have been there a few times - for a quick drink prior to going elsewhere for a meal, a late night drink as seemingly the latest place open on Good Friday (until 02:30am) and finally for a meal on Easter Monday. We both had a standard size pie with mash and mushy peas. Great that you can choose from about 6 different mashes and 5 different pies. We had steak and ale pie, cheesy mash and mushy peas and steak and stilton, garlic mash and mushy peas. Very filling and good value
A warm welcome, this place gets better and better, a small pub, and well worth a look.

Fantastic food! We asked for the home made pie that day to be taken away. To our suprised we got the biggest portion of pie and veg in a huge take away box, with gravy and mush peas seperatly! We took them down to the river to eat with a view.

Best breakfast I've had in Bridgnorth for a long time. Good service and a good quality breakfast nice and plentiful. it was quiet when I went in there but it started to fill up as I was leaving, and the customer service was very good for all, very welcoming and attentive, as it should be. I will definitely be popping back in again next time I'm in town.
Stayed in a local hotel a week or so ago and found this place. Very nice little place, I sat on a table that overlooked the river. I had the steak and kidney pie with home made chips, it was great so ate there the second night also. All homemade, very tasty, decent portions, good service. Im a chef myself for over 11 years and not easily pleased, I would, however, highly recommend this place!
We came for a bit of lunch earlier today - the panini was delicious with chips and salad. The staff were lovely and friendly, will definitely go back.
