Had a lovely meal at the Kings Head. I contacted them prior letting them know it was my partner and my anniversary and they kindly gave us a lovely table by the window and a dessert with Happy Anniversary written on it. Would abeolutely recommend, very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and great foo
As a massive fan of history and maintaining old architecture, this was a wonderful pub. Inside you have the beams, the large open fire, and just a very quirky environment as if you’re stepping back in time. Nice beer garden too. Service was great and very friendly. We had the steak sandwich which wa
Great value for money food, menu is very different, a bit quirky as well as the usual type of meals. Really different inside from what was expected as looking in from outside looked rather dark but when we walked through into a really big pub it was light and airy, had a pool table and large bar and
We stopped off for lunch, great pub. Decor inside is lovely - beams, big fireplace, benches and it has an outside area too. Staff were lovely and friendly and the steak sandwiches are AMAZING. We will definitely be back
Great late lunch! Full lunch menu is available Saturday all pm luckily as we were there after the time that lunch service stops in the week, and which we thought also applied at the weekends. We were looked after well by the staff and much enjoyed a tasty baked fish & sauce starter and a pea risotto
Lovely place very busy when visited very wet outside but warm and cosy with open fire. I ordered steak sandwich, very tasty and well presented. Partner had fish plater, did feel had more salad than fish but he enjoyed. Team all very friendly, would vist again.
Superb. Called in this afternoon to be greeted by a full pub. Good sign but no chance of a table? Friendly and helpful staff managed to squeeze us (family of 4) in👍can honestly say it's the best Sunday lunch I've ever eaten (obviously apart from at home 😉).
Great food, lovely atmosphere, excellent service. Recommended by a friend and easily the best recommendation I've ever had.
Visited on Sunday 18 June 2017 for a father's Day meal and drink with my son. It's a lovely place but due to the excessive heat ( 29degrees) it was too hot to enjoy the Tudor environment. The staff were rushing round to serve two large parties and so the meal delivery was not as fast as we would hav
I have never had a bad meal here. Even their cheaper meals are as good as the more expensive ones, I usually have the gammon which is only about £10. You must book ahead though as they are very popular, I’m sure they are rated number 1 for bridgnorth on another review app. The sticky toffee pudding
Excellent Sunday lunch. Very happy to help my wife's 99 year old mother. Excellent food and service. Great beer as well adds to a great weekend lun h.
First class service from friendly staff. Great menu. The gammon and plaice dishes were superb. Good choice of ales and the New Zealand Silver lake Sauvignon Blanc was fresh and delicious. Great place, great staff, delicious food and very reasonable prices.
The Kings Head is a marvelous gem in a fantastic picturesque charming english village. I have been enjoying a quiet evening at this pub on occasions, for the off hour relaxation after work in Wolverhampton (which so far has failed revealing any nice spots). Food is pretty much off the charts and dri
What a lovely building. My family and I had an amazing experience here. Perfect food. Lovely staff, caring, understanding with a scence of humour. Price is what you expect from such lovely food and amazing staff. Thanks to all at the kings Head Bridgenorth.
Absolutely excellent food, varied menu and super service- we all love it here👍
Visited for the first time in 10 years, what a find and an improvement in this pub's fortunes. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and an imaginative and well executed menu. I thoroughly recommend and will be returning.
On a visit to Bridgenorth today we wanted a traditional sunday lunch, after trying 3 other pubs who dont offer this we came across The Kings Head down a little side street and a what a lovely surprise. We was greeted straight away by smiling friendly staff who offered us seats and took our drinks or
