Used to go to this pub quite alot but stopped going as it went downhill due to the people that it used to attract. Went there last night and was impressed by how much it had changed for the better due to the door men doing an amazing job and not allowing scum in there. Will definitely be back
Went there last night to watch the boxing with my boyfriend off putting at first due to the amount of scumbags hanging around outside. Tidy people inside good staff cheap pint

Nice pub good cheap drinks
For a budget Pub chain place you can't go wrong. Had about 300 meals there, never a bad meal. Popular place for food during day. Quieter in the evening. Food is only served until 8 o clock. Kids welcome. Great if you just want to have a drink. Suitable for everyone. Close location to bus and train stations. Right by bus station so handy if you just want to pop in while you wait for your bus.
Drinks are cheap. Staff was lovely came round to check up on us had a nice chat.

Loads of seats, TVs, ales and a good bar menu AND so cheap. Half price Wednesday so I was happy. My mixed grill was better than most. It's a better alternative to wetherspoons for sure. I noticed they do live music and karaoke too. Good friendly staff who did me a pudding even though the kitchen had closed. Good lads!
Took my mom there for tea . My girlfriend and I enjoyed our meal she had a Yorkshire and beef roll. Which she said was superb . .I had 10 oz gammon meal which was good I must say . My mother had the scampi meal and she thoroughly enjoyed it

Incredible value for money, two good sized tasty meals for £6.99, that's for both of them, not each!! We also had a large glass of white wine and a pint of Strongbow, which took the total bill to an amazingly cheap £12.89!!!!!
A great alternative to Wetherspoons! Mon to Thurs daytime 1/2 price meals. On a December Weds at 2pm I had steak and chips and a pint for £6.50 Tasty, great value and friendly staff. Will visit again
