My husband and I have this as our local. Brilliant little pub conveniently located on the way into town with decent beer, a proper pool table, darts, some sports on and a smashing Sunday dinner. Get a very eclectic crowd in which makes for some reasonable entertainment as anyone will talk to anyone. Dai is steadfastly welcome.

If you're looking for a good honest old fashioned traditional pub - look no further. Fabulous atmosphere always welcoming. The interior was very dated (1970s, never bothered me) but slowly they're making improvements. Just a great pub.

Really lovely lunch, started with a fantastic bread, then delicious Lamb Scrumpet, finishing with a beautiful Cod Loin. It was our first visit, but will be going back again and again.

Friendly atmosphere while watching the rugby, backroom kitted out with big screen. Food at half time was dodgy but it was free so can't complain too much. It was a chip butty by the way.

Beer has improved a hell of a lot over the last few years. It still looks like it did in the 80s in the bar but the lounge probably has had an upgrade. Pool table and dart board to entertain.
