We have tried many different Chinese takeaways but none of them rival Godfrey. The food is fresh tasty and highly aromatic.
Their chips are not greasy and neither are the vegetable spring rolls.
They do not use soy sauce.
We have always called ahead to place our order because the food is cooked fresh. And it saves having to wait in the car.
There are places to park outside the take away anyway as well as a cash machine because Godfrey only takes cash payments .
God, they are so busy all of the time. They don't take any rudeness off customers. The girls are always helpful. If I don't know a certain meal, they will explain the meal to me. That's when I make my choice.

This is our favorite take away by far, the quality of the food is superb, clean and very tasty. The curry sauce is 100% delicious and the BBQ ribs have wonderful quality meat and lots of it. They don’t deliver but I would rather drive and know that I will get quality food at the end of it.

This is quite possibly the best Chinese I've been to. It was the first Chinese my dad visited when he moved to Bridgend 30 years ago and it is always my family's first choice since, even all these years later!
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food fantastic and good value for money.
This place has been operating from the triangle for as long as I can remember and I don't think they've ever got my order wrong and I've never had any reason to complain. The menu isn't as expansive as some other Chinese takeaways whicb is probably a good thing as Godfreys food always feels fresher and less stodgy than it's competitors!
Been using godfreys for many years, never had a bad one. And yes it can be busy on the weekends but that's because it's a blinking good and popular Chinese
