Food quality excellent. You must try Honey Spare Ribs, best you'll ever taste. Service was great, staff really friendly. It can sometimes be a bit on the noisy side, but you won't get better food for the price anywhere. Least that's my opinion. Big thumbs up from me.
This restaurant is fantastic, the whole family went there last night for my husband and sons birthday, we've been going to this restaurant for over 20 years, we are never disappointed.
Food is amazing we've never had a bad meal, service was Brillant, food all ways really hot and delious, service good and didn't wait long between courses, I asked the waiter if we could have cake and candles, as soon as we finished our mains the table was cleared and 2 waiter's brought the cake out for my husband and son at the same time , love love love this place highly recommend .
Very good service. There was a very large party of us and they were fantastic, food was very good as always. Came out quick and was very tasty. All round good place for a sit down Chinese. Will always recommend and go back again.
Brilliant night, Chinese New Year, food was second to none, staff were fantastic, comedian was funny even though there were children there so things were toned down but he made such a fuss of them it was funny and cute, great singer, bit disapointed with the DJ, all he did was play songs with his arms folded looking like he didn't want to be there, no interaction with the diners but it didn't spoil the night ��

I am or have never been disappointed with the food. Staff are lovely. The restaurant is decorated in typical asian style. It is not cheap but If you love chinese treat yourself!
Called here last night, food excellent, staff friendly obviously plenty as everyone had take home boxes after finishing their meals. Wished we lived closer, be calling again when we’re in the area, fancy trying your Sunday buffet.
Absolutely delicious food. I recommend the Cantonese sizzling steak, duck in plum sauce and the smoked garlic chicken. We always book an early table and we find the food comes out then at a good pace. We had a young toddler with us this time, they offered us a highchair straight away. Great service.
The food at New Garden was lovely, my wife and I have different tastes but we found a happy compromise by ordering a couple of different things from the menu.
The service was very good at the beginning and the food came very quick. Waiting for the bill took a fair bit of time but that's because the place got very busy and I don't think it was expected that evening.

Great choice available on the menu, the food portion size was amazing - plenty to take home after the meal. Service was a bit slow but it was rather busy. Overall a great experience and I’m sure I will visit again for a nice succulent Chinese meal.
We went for food here as a last minute decision and let me tell you, the BEST decision we made. The food was outstanding, the nicest food ever and service was fast! The food came out within minutes of ordering and was fresh and piping hot!! Highly recommend to everyone. I'd happily travel the 40 odd miles to go here again!!
I think there may have been a mix up as it took a long time to get served and have our food. The staff were friendly and the food was lovely though.

Had the set menu (E) for 2 people but could have fed 3 easily , starter sharer , crispy duck pancakes, then 3 dishes with rice , very flexible to swap if you don’t want/like something. Definitely worth a revisit.
The best around, great value,. Very generous on the amount of food you get. A very special restaurant 10/10 i look forward to my next visit 🙏

Visited with my partner for her birthday with her family and it was very nice. There was something to choose for everyone.
The restaurant is quite large, though booking ahead is recommended for large parties.
The food was good value for money and the staff were very friendly.
Absolutely Amazing! One of my favourite places to eat out.
We went on a Tuesday evening. It was as busy as you would expect it to be at a weekend!! The portions were huge but very welcomed as they were delicious. We were a party of 6 who ordered the set menu for 6. We could not say a bad word about it.

This is one of the best Chinese Restaurants you'll ever eat at!😋😜Fantastic food. If you want to take it out of your hands and try different dishes, they have a fantastic All You Can Eat Buffet on a Sunday Lunchtime. I think between 12-3. They are always really busy so I suggest booking to be guaranteed a table. They always have entertainment there for the Chinese New Year every year too. It is very popular for family gatherings such as birthdays, etc. You will enjoy!😜

And they were right !
Very good food. Value for money. A little slow getting all the food out but was very busy. Will visit again defo.
Our first meal out since lockdown begun in March, also our first Chinese since before March, and boy was it worth waiting for!
We enjoyed a delicious meal, that was flavoursome, vibrant and everything that we love about the New Garden.
Social distancing measures and safe hygiene precautions are evident throughout the restaurant, we felt safe and enjoyed our meal.
