The best cafe in the area by a country mile. Simple and true to itself no pretentious nonsense like so many other cafes. Would highly recommend everything is fresh, homemade and tremendous value for money. Glad it's on my back door. Good kids play area too. Keep up the good work :)

My friends recently threw me a surprise baby shower at Lochnagar Cafe, and I have to say it was the perfect venue for it! Very cosy and comfortable, a small play area for the kids, delicious food and great hospitality. Would highly recommend for a baby shower venue, or simply just for the coffee and cake!

We organised a Baby Shower here for my friend, the area cornered off for us was fantastic, very homely and their was even a play corner for people bringing children and Prosecco being topped up for the non drivers. The food and drinks on offer per head was very good value and the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff left us all saying that we would definitely be back. Thank you Lochnagar for a lovely experience!

I love my Lochnagar visits. The twice-baked souffle is scrumptious and the lemon meringue pie is absolutely, positively, without-a-doubt second to none! (Can you tell that I just LOVE the lemon meringue pie? :) )

I wandered into the Lochnager Cafe recently when I was doing a little bit of ancestor-searching in Bridge of Weir. The people at the Cafe (especially John!) were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. With their help, I was able to locate the home of my great-grandmother! And not to forget...the food was delicious! I had the Smoked Mackerel Pate, and my mouth is watering for some more. I can't wait to go back to Scotland one day...a visit to the Lochnager Cafe is on my list. Thank y'all for the help and the food! :)

The service is second to none and the staff are a constant feature. The menu is static but I happen to like that. Blueberry pancakes are particularly recommended. Light surroundings and light meals make for a consistently pleasant experience.

An alternative to Bernie's up the road. Eclectic furnishings, so you'll find a sofa/seat to suit you.
