Had truly wonderful evening at The Grill. Ate delicious food, including exquisite Wagyu beef (and lobster!) and were treated royally by lovely staff who gave us a complimentary, amazingly flavourful creme caramel. Bumped into our sweet, generous neighbours and generally could not have celebrated our ninth wedding anniversary in tastier style. To top it all they even had Seedlip! Loved the spiced version. Rupert drank a speciality coffee out of a golden cup. Happy Jo and Rupert!! 👏😀❤️
Can't speak highly enough of the place! Enjoyed a beautiful meal last night. The attention to detail in every way was thought of. The cuts of Wague we had just melted in your mouth. We were very well looked after by Christine our host. The wine list was world class the best I've ever seen anywhere in the world. A must vist. The prices were very good. As I always say you get what you pay for. Highland Wagyu well done.
Treated my other half to a birthday meal, we both thought the taste of the wagu steak was phenomenal! Never had a steak like it! The staff were fantastic, attending to our table from the word go and giving us an in-depth explanation of the different cuts of meat from the menu and how the chef prepared it. The restaurant decor was classy/modern and a very relaxing atmosphere. Worth every penny. Thanks for a fantastic meal, will be back in the future!
We went for a Sunday lunch and got the 3 courses for £40 and it was worth every penny. Waiting staff were super, the restaurant is stunning and the food was delicious. Definitely will be going back. Would recommend The Grill by HW to anyone. �
First time I have visited The Grill by HW & the meal was FANTASTIC! Everything about this new restaurant was great, the decor is modern/stylish & clearly done to the highest of standards. I had a 3 course meal & every course was as good as the last (although the main star was the exceptional wagyu fillet steak & chips, has to be the beast steak I’ve had in ages). All the staff are friendly & very informative/passionate about their product. Overall a great experience & would highly recommend, my husband & I will definitely be back in the future. �

First class food. The staff made me feel very welcome and I noticed they are very attentive to all their customers. One of the best dining experiences. I felt I was at the Ritz they way the looked after me.
Lovely fennel, walnut and blue cheese to share as a starter with a glass of sauvignon blanc. Really enjoyed the wagbol too with a shared carafe of Argentinean malbec. Couldn't resist dessert of brownie and ice cream. We'll definitely be back!
Fantastic! Just had lunch here with my family to celebrate my birthday. Food was amazing, staff could not have been nicer and interacted brilliantly with both adults and kids. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and the atmosphere is very relaxed. All 9 of our party had nothing but positive things to say (some of my family are hard to please �)

A bit off the track but well worth the effort to visit.
Excellent steaks as you would expect and delectible selection of wines availble by the glass and a wine list to die for if you want to splurge on something exceptional.
Must visit place, surprised if it isn't #1 locally.

Wow! This place is amazing! The best beef you'll ever have! I will definitely be returning here soon! The food is incredible and the staff are really friendly and nice. You can tell it is a small family business.

My boyfriend and I decided to cross trying wagyu steak off our bucket lists after seeing this restaurant featured on the TV show, "Remarkable Places to Eat". We were not disappointed! My burger was one of the best I've ever had, and my boyfriend was drooling over his steak. Very happy we made the trip!
Nicely presented dishes made with care and great quality products. The meat needed to be a bit more seasoned and perhaps matured a bit longer but that is just my personal opinion which is perhaps a little biased towards the style of beef I am used to eating.

If you love steak or burgers this place is heaven. The waiting staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and boy was the food good - accompanied with a rather superb wine list! Don't expect a huge menu as they simply focus of their beef, and for the quality that you get the prices are very reasonable. Well worth booking a visit for the best burger in Scotland.
First visit and will definitely be back. Lovely place to be sat, food was just unbelievably amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for you! The menu was fully explained so we knew exactly what we were getting, and despite being busy they were attentive throughout. Possibly the best burger any of us have ever had, in a fantastic restaurant... 5* experience all round.
