Really good food!!! Amazing service a bit slow but worth the wait! Highly recommended

I enjoyed my dinner here but it was very busy which meant service was quite slow. We waited 25 minutes for drinks. Food arrived soon after.

Plaudits for every facet of this restaurant. From a delicious and unusual liver parfait starter to a main dish of succulent lamb with black pudding gratin. The chef is a genius!

Staff good but drink prices too high eg 1 pint of lager and 1 large white wine was over £14. This is an Edinburgh city price. OK for the once in a while quick drink only.

We went in for some food. We had not booked but luckily they had a table for us. The service was great with very polite staff. The food was also great. We both had burgers. We would definitely go back.

Absolutely brilliant!! The staff could not have been nicer. We had had a walk on the Darn Path, called there, & had drinks & chips. We left, had a walk along Alva Glen & returned & had more drinks & chips! That's how good they were, we will be returning! 🥳
