Came in tonight. New owner... Well, she moved mountains along with her chef to make sure we had the best meals even though the kitchen wasn't stocked fully due to circumstances beyond their control. I wish you the best of luck and hope the pub goes from stength to strength. 5 star service ladies. WE. LOVED IT XXX

Lovely little village pub, next to the canal in Brewood. We went for Mother's Day and all had the Sunday Roast. All very happy with the food and beer was good also. Staff were also very friendly.

Manager Helen and staff were all very helpful. We were travelling through on a barge and they were so accommodating. Even offered for us to pre order if it looked like we would be delayed so that we didn’t go hungry. They even phoned to check on our progress. Great food and drink after a long day on the barge. Thank you all for the great food, great atmosphere, recommendations and hospitality

Stopped by there at the weekend. As I had walking through the canal, just figured out it is located by the canal. Nice location and quite well decorated place. It has also nice garden sitting where you can have your drink by the canal just a bit top view of it. As it was weekend afternoon the pub is quiet crowded. It seems it is popular place in the area. Everything is fine except the place is a bit pricey.

A group of boaters visited this pub whilst on holiday. Helen was very welcoming. The service was good. We all enjoyed our food. We sat out in the beer garden as the weather was good. Lovely atmosphere would visit again

A lovely pub, where we had a good lunch with some cider. Nice, comfortable and cool inside and good seating outside for a little sun while watching the boats go by..

After a long walk along the canal towpaths at Brewood we popped here for a refreshing pint. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming, good beer, and relaxing. If anyone is out walking in the area, I recommend you pop in for refreshment. The pub also has a reputation for good food. although we didn't try it on this occasion.

Not a fan of Marstons pubs or ales but this is a nice canalside pub serving decent grub. Handy stopping off place if you're on a narrowboat, close to local shops, cash point and you can even do your laundry at the pub whilst having a cheeky one!! 🤣
