Been for a carvery tonight on the your opening night and I’ve got to say that it was superb.
The pub redecoration is really light and airy, the staff were extremely helpful and attentive and the food was wonderful- at a great price- 3 meats - beef, gammon and turkey- Yorkshire puddings and pigs in blankets- and delighted with range of vegetables including Brussels sprouts, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, carrots, roast and mashed potatoes, roast parsnips and green runner beans - Outstanding
Also a great selection of gins and specialist beers, deals on spirits, shots and bombs and also music nights planned from Saturday,
Would most definitely recommend others to visit and wish you all well ��

Had a lovely carvery today first time ive been since revamp and was very happy the staff are friendly and polite and the food was extremely lovely top marks 5 star wil definately be returning
Had a carvery on Monday and have to say it was very nice. Had standard size but will go for the small one next time because it beat me!! Very generous portion of meat and good choice of veg. Will certainly use on a regular basis.

We've just been and had a carvery and I have to say it was the best carvery I have had,very yummy.the meat melted in your mouth and the veg was cooked to perfection.we will be coming back again soon
The food was lovely, the staff were polite and came over to check if everything was okay, I would definitely go back and I would recommend it as well
I have very mixed feelings about it. Been 4 times now, like to give anywhere the benefit of the doubt. But at 6.15 last night no turkey and only a very small piece of beef big enough for two standard meals. There was 4 of us! Large piece of gammon but........ complained once a few weeks ago and got a round of drinks knocked off but the place needs some stability!
Food really nice always hot plenty of variety beef melted in your moth best we’ve had at a Carvery. Worth a visit or two �
I've been twice in the last few weeks with my daughter and grandson. I like the friendly service, and though we did have to wait a while for our meal. We were told how long the wait would be. when the food came was nice and freshly cooked so was worth the wait. The waitress made sure we had everything we needed. I fell relaxed and comfortable in the surroundings.

Food was top quality - fresh and hot, friendly and welcoming staff
We had a family meal for 12 and were looked after very well by Sophie and her staff. Some of us had the carvery which was delicious 😋, others off the menu. Plenty of choice to even suit the fussy kids! All food was piping hot and quickly served all together. The allergy menu was simple to follow through the app as shown by the staff. Would definitely go again and highly recommend.
Very enjoyable experience. Food was delivered to the table piping hot, and it was reasonably priced.
Staff were very friendly, especially Dee, who made the evening.
Will definitely come back if in the area.

Haven't been here for a long time. They have added a carvery section. The food is very nice. Service of a couple of members of staff could be improved on. Can order on the Greene King app
I went to the Chesterfield today for the first time and I was really impressed… The staff were lovely and very accommodating… I have autism so loud busy places are hard for me… the staff got me and my support worker a quiet table and said if somewhere quieter came up and our current table was too loud or busy we could move… The food was delicious… the prices were great and the atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming… I will most certainly be going back :D I’d recommend checking the place out!
Really enjoyed the food today, we had the mini mixed grill, could not fault it. The surroundings were bright and clean and the staff went that little bit extra, especially a young lady called Dee who nothing was too much of a problem. Well done. Will definitely be going back.

Arrived with 2 hungry grumpy kids at around 5.30 on a friday evening and was seated immediately ordered off the app and drinks arrived at the speed of light. We nipped off to grab the carvery and left my autistic son at the table with this 2 dinosaurs ( all will become clear), his meal arrived and much to my surprise he was talking to the server. This never happens as he does not like new people. Meals surpassed my expectations and was lovely. The guy serving the carvery was so polite and even carried meal to the table. Ordered pudding and the server came to clear our plates and my son started a conversation with her about the dinosaur tattoo on her arm. She was absolutely amazing and 5 * is not enough for her patients and the way she communicated with my son, she asked him if he knew what kind of dinosaur it was and he told her, she chatted away for a good 5 mins.He absolutely loved her and said I don't mind going there for dinner cus that lady's cool..... trust me that's the best recommendation you can get from him. Thank you for a fabulous visit from a very happy mum.
I had a voucher code that didn't work, this is not the fault of the staff. They were extremely helpful and did everything they could for me, highly appreciate. They were so helpful and happy, the ladies that served us behind the bar made us feel very welcome!
The food was good too, we came here not too long ago when it was busy and we felt the food was lacking slightly. But after coming back at a quieter time the food is absolutely fine, was definitely due to the busy time.

I visit the Chesterfield several times every week for something to eat after work. The staff are always really friendly and accommodating, the food is good and fantastic value too! The carvery is on every day for a bargain price and of course you’ll never leave hungry! A big thank you to all the staff who always go out of their way to make me feel welcome! :-)
Lovely family carvery , food was delicious , atmosphere felt a little tense with having young children who find it difficult to sit still for long periods of time but enjoyable all the same
Food was really nice, the cornish pasty pie was so good! My bf really enjoyed his burger too. The staff were very friendly.
We come to The Chesterfield every week and the staff and management are always lovely , helpful and friendly to us … however today we witnessed a waitress being so lovely and helpful to a table of older guests too - offering to help order their food at the bar and generally offering excellent service !
Carvery was excellent as is now usual since the new management team have started to make a positive impact on the pub !

I would like to thank the whole staff for making our party of 24 made to feel very welcome the service and food was brilliant especially the carvery which most of the party had we will certainly visit again (not the 24) as family was visiting from Australia and this was a family reunion
