Loved the food and the setting. We both had the crab with avocado as the starter, followed by sea bass, accompanied by pigpul de pinet. Loved every mosel od food and every drop of wine.

Just returned from a Mothers Day lunch here - what a treat. We were a party of 9 and had a wonderful time here - Motherā€™s day can be one of the most rushed experiences in most restaurants but here we were made to feel very welcome, with attentive service, wonderful freshly cooked food and all in very pleasant surroundings. Will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Just returned from a very pleasant evening of ā€˜tapas on the terraceā€™. Astounded to find they werenā€™t fully booked this evening. Lovely hosts, lovely food and lovely surroundings - whatā€™s not to like?! We will definitely be returning - maybe with pooch for lunch next time as we just found out they are dog friendly too!

What a gem to find just down the road from home. Thought it was just a gastro pub but is more than that. The most beautiful terrace outside, traditional tudor interior. And the food....delicious. staff couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely go back...more than once. Loved it.

We had the most delicious Sunday lunch at the Chequers. The food is excellent and the decor is both stylish and homely. The service was perfect and the host could nt have been more welcoming. We shall definitely be returning very soon. Highly recommend!!

Myself, Mrs and 7week old son stopped here on our way through to great yarmouth for the day. First of all - the owners where lovely, talkative, polite, accommodating etc. Welcomed us VERY well and Took care of us the best they could. We ordered the ploughmans light bite.... and the home.made chutney that I believe the gentleman makes *WAS DELICIOUS šŸ¤ 1000% will return all beit a drive from where we live in Lincolnshire (be a well worth drive) Lovely place. :)

The food was excellent and home cooked. Very limited choice and not cheap but restaurant looks lovely and has well attended gardens. Service friendly but appeared inexperienced. Maybe they are new there.

Wonderful find. Stopped in after a busy Sunday morning at Bressingham Steam Museum with our hungry son. Very glad we did, lovely food, great service. Definitely recommend for a Sunday lunch.

Really good evening. If you like some light Jazz slightly quirky approach to an evening and Tapas then it's a great atmosphere and you really unwind.

Delicious afternoon tea in a smart venue. Glass of Prosecco offered. Asked for a doggy bag to take some treats home.
