Loved loved loved the carrot-sweet potato soup! Over 12 days since my Scotland trip started and this is the first time someone has prepared food with such brilliant use of spice and heat. Not super loud or intense. But not disappearing, either. Perfect for some comfort on a windy day. Then came the pecan/coffee cake - brilliantly rich! Also, absolutely loved the thrift store. I wish this was my last stop and I could have bought everything and just flown homeπŸ˜‚πŸ‘€πŸ™Š (probably kills the purpose of thrifting though so yayy for mindful purchases). Shoutout to the wonderful people running this! Thank you folks for creating such an inspiring setup. πŸ’•

Such a delicious soup and cake. Loved the resale shop and the knitting and craft area. I purchased a head band and met the knitter too. Just lovely.

Fantastic wee place to visit and cafe was lovely too. Had gluten free cake but not bread, but lots of other lunch options. Busy place, would recommend booking if in a larger group.

Had lunch there on my birthday. Great staff. It is in the old school about a mile from the harbour.

This is a lovely little cafe situated on a beautiful island! We were out for a day cycling while visiting on a cruise, and stopped in for a cup of coffee. We ended up staying for cakes and cheese boards, everything was very tasty and freshly made. The prices seemed very reasonable so I would recommend it to everyone. The set up, in an old converted school was extremely cute and certainly made us smile!

Lovely community run cafe in Bressay. Where the Bressay Parkrun (the most northerly in the UK) finishes, so an obvious choice for an after run breakfast. Set in the old school there's a good-as-new shop and a craft shop. Lovely staff and very good value.

This is a great little cafe, one of the best I've been to after a parkrun. The staff are lovely and very efficient, they have numerous drinks on offer, I had a peppermint and liquorice tea, which sounds odd, but was really nice. Had an oatcake / biscuit which was lovely too. Liked the map of the UK where they encourage you to put a pin on where you have come from, great ideaπŸ‘
