Visited Merchant on a Sunday night and was highly impressed by the members of staff on shift. I spent some time at the bar and Jack, Ellie and Fin were an absolute delight. The Angry Frank topped fries were amazing! Hot sauce and blue stilton is a combo I will be trying at home. I wasn't sure at first but the staff member Jack assured me it was good and I'm glad he did, thanks Jack!
Visited the merchant and the food was delish! Definitely stepped up a notch. The atmosphere was great, staff were friendly and Jack couldn’t be more helpful! Will be back soon, thank you!
Had a lovely day with the boys. couple of ice cold beers and ended uo having a Bb Burger and some Korean chicken wings which were unreal. New local I think
Had bottomless brunch, smiles at bar great service. Bar service from fin was exceptional. Much appreciated and ill be back for sure 💪

It's a great atmosphere in here good choice of food with pool table, dart board, fruit machines and loads of tvs....if you want a good guiness poured Jack's your man 🍺
Got looked after by a barman called Finn. Couldn’t ask for more we got the unlimited cocktails for 2 hours with food for £30. 100% recommend
The only place I stop in Brentwood, quality venue, fantastic layout & great food.
Staff are amazingly friendly, a lovely women named Sam brought our food & drinks straight to our table at dinner time.
I also popped in one Friday night when they had football on & a DJ the atmosphere was incredible.

The atmosphere was very lovely and so were the foods and drinks. A special shout out to Patrick who was excellent with his service, he helped us decide from the menu and kept checking in and made sure we were happy with everything. Highly recommend for anyone in Brentwood.
Nice pub in the high street, friendly relaxed atmosphere. Lovely staff, felt very welcome. Great food, recommend the 'angry fries'! Dog friendly too 🙂
